Wish SOOO much that this had trample. O well, huge guy for 3 seems fair enough.

Trouble with no Trample? Didn't we just recently get a reprint of a perfect solution to that? One Rancor? =D
Beyond that, I love this card completely, it is what sealed my want to play Selesnya.

Well, trample is the only thing this card lacks. It's not overpowered, but solid. Requites a bit of work to be really good.
Kinda strange though, that it's type is not "elemental construct", what with it being a temple.

I don't particularly like those plant humping Selesnyans but they sure know how to build an awesome freaking temple. Nice.

Best populate card, out right. Cost for the creature is already worth 3, but you get to populate for free... Then add in things like rancor or selesnya charm for trample... Isn't there a soulbond trample guy as well?? This is a card you want to have 4 of in every populate deck.
Phenomenal art, CMC and abilities. 5/5, All day long.

Pros like me like how this guy literally makes himself grow when he populates.
1. Put this guy on a Mimic Vat. 2. Populate the Wayfaring Temple token. 3. ??? 4. PROFIT

Shield of the Oversoul is a perfect match here, gives flying (less block to activate Populate) and indestructible to stay alive to benefit from Populate.

Hmm, Apple maps would be more accurate if the buildings could just move to where it said they were...

It is amazing how much better the "Keldon Warlord" style creatures have gotten over the years - wow!
Run this in your favorite token deck. Surprisingly solid, and gets bigger each time it hits your opponent. Of course, you'll want to give it trample or some sort of evasion...but it's green. Rancor.

Eh... he's okay. Everyone's gushing over the fact that he only costs three, but that's also his greatest weakness.
Condition 1: you cast him on turn three, and probably don't have enough creatures to discourage your opponent just blocking and killing it on turn four. Not to mention you probably don't have all that many tokens out yet anyway.
Condition 2: you cast him late game, and WHOA! This guy's massive! You have tons of creatures! ...but so do they. *chump block*.
Of course, this card is infinitely better with trample, but isn't everything anyway? 3/5

I think having trample on this guy would make it way overpowered but yeah this is a great card. It belongs in any token deck with these colors.

It looks great for a three mana, but it's deceptive in that you need a decent board state, a token to populate, and the ability to get damage through. 3.5/5

Kind of a callback to Scion of the Wild. Not strictly better due to the additional color, but it's still damn good anyways, and goes even better with Fists of Ironwood than the Scion.

For casual, love him alongside Soul Foundry. If you imprint him on it, he and his token buddies are making themselves bigger, and if they make contact they're making extra copies of themselves. If you imprint something even better on the Foundry - say, an Acidic Slime or Primeval Titan or something - he'll make extra copies of those lovelies, rather than just making extra 1/1 Saprolings or whatnot.
Throw in the fact that he's part green - meaning that you can run Dryad Arbor in the same deck - and even if you're just playing him naturally he can easily be above curve on the turn he comes out.

No one considered growing ranks, makes this card pretty beefy
Use your sword to find his weak spot, then climb up and stab him in the back of the neck.. All just to try and get laid again.
Also, Trample is what this card wants but that is a keyword shared by Red and green. Token making is shared by Green and White so I think this card was done right.

Ignoring the effect entirely, this guy's name and art are enough for a 5/5 from me.

Reeeaaaally wish this guy had a Golem subtype for my Golem/Splicer tribal deck. Oh well, he's pretty neat as he is. If only he had tramample.
