Without even looking at the text box I think "that bastard is intimidating."

What if the card is referring to the little guy in the foreground?

So little time...

You know how the white one has Swords to Plowshares? Well, I'm glad this one doesn't have Reanimate word-for-word

Evasion, creature advantage, and art to ensure nightmares for the next 3-5 days.

If a card says "each opponent" and has a high mana cost, you can slap it into your EDH decks without much further thought.

Take their Restoration Angel, flicker your primordial, then take 2nd creature from their graveyard. Not bad for a budget rare.

This cycle seems like it would be great in some of the standard reanimator decks.

@ adt632 : Unearth exiles the creature no matter what would happen to it. Nothing combos with Unearth.

Cool card. Too bad its name can't be pronounced without risk of choking on one's own tongue.

Can you say Sheoldred, Whispering One.
Opponents sac a creature on their turn....next turn Sheoldred brings SP out of the grave into play and you take them all.
Toss in a Doomgape for extra by sacking the SP each upkeep then Sheoldred bringing him right back in to get the next round of opponent creatures sacked.

Sedris, the Traitor King EDH and Fleshbag Marauder are friends of this guy.

Terrifying in Commander, despite the small body for its casting cost. Flickering it is funny - take ALL the dead creatures.

Dies to Sepulchritude, but then again what doesn't.

6/5 in EDH/multiplayer.
3.5/5 elsewhere.
I guess 4/5 is fair overall.

It's spendy but has some serious potential in a multiplayer game. Cloudshift for additional creatures? Yes please.

"I am mistaken in thinking that Unearth exiles the creature no matter what would happen to it. Nothing combos with Unearth. I think that nothing combos with Unearth because I never bothered to read the text for Unearth and do not know how Unearth works."

Fixed that for you.

Beyond the obvious Sedris, The Traitor King + anything with card type (particularly Misthollow Griffin): creature, lets see:

Anything that causes a creature to phase out before the end step, such as Teferi's Veil (assuming you swing with your unearthed critter, of course). When a card is phased out, you miss the delayed trigger to exile the unearthed creature. Of course the replacement effect from Unearth is still there, so if it dies, gets bounced, etc. then it still gets exiled.

Anything that flickers a creature. Such as Astral Slide, Cloudshift, Restoration Angel, etc. The replacement effect only occurs if the creature leaves the battlefield and goes to a non-exile zone... and since the creature returns as a new permanent, it doesn't have the Unearth triggers attached to it.

Stuff that triggers on stuff leaving the battlefield, like Extractor Demon (but not when Extractor Demon itself is exiled due to its own unearth trigger), or Grixis Slavedrivers.

TL;DR: Stuff does in fact combo with Unearth if you have half a brain or understand what Unearth does. Notice the "or."

My favourite is when I get to steal clones out of their graveyard.

This card really makes a mess of things after a board wipe in multi-player games.

This thing really saw (siteboard) play in a big tournament...

That surprised me even more than the Mazes End deck in the Dragons Maze protour. I've much to learn.

Much like the blue primordial, it has the potential to whiff hard. Early on you won't be fetching much anything good because not much would have died, and lategame you need to be wary of graveyard hate. If you can find the sweetspot time (say after a board wipe and no one is able to play graveyard hate when it comes to your turn) it's a big blowout though.

Pretty good for a mill deck I suppose.

Although it isn't the reason people use him, 7 mana for a 5/4 Intimidate isn't that bad. The ability to steal creatures from a graveyard a 7 mana, however, is pretty expensive, though it's obviously very powerful in group games. The art is pretty great, too.
