I was having a hard time deciding whether to play Think Twice or Train of Thought in my Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind EDH deck. I ended up going with Think Twice, but now I can get the best of both worlds with this! Also, I would have been so ***ed if this didn't have haste

@Lorendorky, I think the "Hypersonic" actually references the speed he goes, not the sound he makes. That would make his haste and speeding of spells make sense.
Cool card, not really playable next to Thundermaw Hellkite but a good substitute which makes for much, much funner plays.

A 4/4 flyer with hast for 5 is good on it's own, but it also has the ability to turn all of your sorceries into instants. That is an interesting effect that pros like me will stand behind.

Definitely an interesting card with a really fun effect. I'm wondering which will see more play in Izzet decks, this or Thundermaw Hellkite...... Though this is about 20 times cheaper than Thundermaw last I checked.

4/4 Flying and Haste for 5 is very fair, and the Sorcery to Instant conversion is just delicious, delicious gravy. One of the few cards from RtR that I have absolutely zero problems with.

I LOVE!! this card. I played at the pre-release on the 29th, and everyone around me was saying I got the worst promo of all.....HOW!?!?! A 4/4 for 5, with flying and haste, and I can fireball, or Invoke the Firemind on their turn to draw (If Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind is out) or straight damage.

At prerelease, Match 4 of 4. Opponent gets to play this thing every game of our match (I lost it anyway 1-2), but guess what? Within one turn it's dead to Aerial Predation. Sometimes, a good card like this is just too vulnerable.

Allows you to play Dragonstorm during your opponent's turn, or Dragonstorm allows you to cheat it into play. Nice interaction there. 4/4 flying haste is a fair body for 5 mana - anything further from that borders on being silly, as Thundermaw Hellkite testifies. The only letdown on it doesn't have flash itself. That seems instinctive design to me, so I wonder if it had it on early development and proved too powerful during testing.

I LOVE this card. (i use a few of them in my deck) Its a flying hast that turns sorceries into insants. normaly Sleep taps your foes cards for 1yt, 1ot, 1yt. 1yt=1 of your turns (1ot= 1 openents turns.) add this dragon and 1ot, 1yt, 1ot, 1yt, (it adds a whole turn!)

Really good with Melek, Izzet Paragon, then fatten up Blistercoil Weird. One of the easiest strategies out there, especially if your Blistercoil's got flying, trample, whatever. Awesome in pretty much any deck, how's he less than 4/5?!

This guy literally has the Izzet gauntlets like the guildmage's. The idea that it flies in at high speed while carrying powerful Izzet spells is absolutely amazing.
