At the time of this commenting, Goblin Tunneler has appeared in 3 sets, all of which are currently Standard Legal.
I would put one of them in a goblin deck. I mean, it combines with goblin lackey and goblin piledriver extremely well. it's awful having your 11/2 piledriver blocked by a 2/2 with first strike :S
Interestingly works terrific with other Goblins and Rogues

@ Lueseto why only one? If you want to draw something or play it somewhat consistently then you gotta have at least two. I mean sure you could fetch it with a goblin matron or something else but why waste it on that when you could grab something more useful?
Not to mention its a creature that can die quite easily so...
I run this in my burn deck with Chandra's Spitfire and KilnFiend for casual games, and that deck runs phenomenally.

Kiln fiend best friend . See , you play this ability BEFORE you power up kiln fiend and THEN you cast a few lightning bolts or other spells ,powering him up. As long as this guy is on the field , and you have some spells in your hand , your kiln fiend is DEADLY . Imagine doing 4-10 + damage a TURN with COMMON CARDS !Hilarious RDW for causal or extended .

I think people underrate this little guy. Him, plus any goblin, and add in things like a trepanation blade, quest for pure flame (after it's built up which isn't hard to do with goblins), beef it up with a ghitu war cry, and end it with a fling. I've personally hit someone with 80+ points of unblockable damage from one goblin thanks to my tunneler. My friends know, so he gets killed immediately when i play him nowadays.
