People down-rating this card aren't thinking big enough. R/W weenies seems like a veeeeery fun deck for this guy.

The flavor seems disjointed but this is a cool card, common to boot.

Hey, it's a very situational 3/1 for 1R! This will see no play whatsoever outside of Limited and even inside Limited it's only as good as the other cards in your deck. Still, I'd pick it in any red Limited deck I made.

This card was made for Thatcher Revolt. If you don't think this is decent remember both cards are commons and this curves into turn three revolt like no one's business (except maybe Accorder Paladin's). Badass for boros limited.

Curves so nicely! T3 Thatcher Revolt and swing is obvious enough, but if you're creative enough, the shennanigans get even worse. Plus, who doesn't love angry redheads?

This certainly has some potential in a R/W token farm, and this guy is a bomb if you had him out and just managed to miracle out an Entreat the Angels

This guy is very powerful, T1 drop Champion of the Parish, T2 Kruin Striker, T3 Silverblade Paladin or Hanewir Lancer or Sharpened Pitchfork to give first strike so he's more survivable. Then cards like Gather the Townsfolk or Thatcher's Revolt or even Geist-Honored Monk and Elspeth make him really hit hard. Plus with Goldnight Commander this guy hits brutally hard.

Does no one else find it odd that she has such a huge shield but no defense?

@Tacia: Its not her shield.

The flavor text of this card...confuses us. Was it not stated that we are supposed to sympathize with the humans of Innistrad, that they are the "heroes" of the setting? We are supposed to sympathize with a species so stupid that it attacks its own kin and allies? These "wolfir" are humans freed from the werewolf curse and tasked with guarding humanity. And yet here is a human leading a crusade with many other humans to attack these wolfir. Disgusting and irrational.

I'd play this in casual with Krenko, Mob Boss.

Largely overshadowed by Stormblood Berserker, but an underrated card in my opinion. Trample in red can be very valuable. This card can put on pressure in the early game without being a dead draw later on. Plays nice with Thatcher Revolt, Gather the Townsfolk, and just about any other token generation.

God, what a ***. Get some new buddies who're eager to help out against the monster, and your first instinct is to go crusading against them!?

I actually use this as a lynchpin in my Fiend Hunter deck. Three of them, and this bad boy becomes a ridiculously large trampler. Obviously, it's got a lot of weaknesses. He's got really low toughness (easy to burn,) doesn't have haste (either give him haste or keep him alive one turn before activating the combo,) and to activate the combo, you'll need one other creature, yours or your opponents, on the battlefield. It's not a competitive deck, but for kitchen table Magic, it's a lot of fun.

@Sliver_Legion:
The wolfir used to eat people. Even if they've stopped eating people now, that's the kind of thing that's going to fuel grudges.

Got a crazy combo with her. This with aMoonsilver spear,Insquisitor's Flail,Silver-Inlaid Dagger. Also soulbond withSilverblade Paladin. That lets you swing with 1 20/1 first striker. To make it crazier thatcher revolt. A 32/1 First strike with trample. THIS will shred through your opponent's defenses and life total like paper. OUCH.

I like the flavor of this card, and it makes perfect sense for there to be a large portion of the human population that still hates and distrusts the werewolves that have been hunting and slaughtering them for generations, even if Avacyn says they're totally nice now.

The church would do well to relocate Rorica to a place where the only humanoid wolves around are wantons. Those DO need to be Dealt With. (Or does she think ALL werewolves are wantons?)

@Sliver_Legion and Doragon Shinzui

To their credit,t he werewolves have been spending the last Avacyn knows how long rampaging throughout their territory. Perhaps Rorica is from Kessig, away from vampire and zombie territory but plagued by werewolves until Avacyn lifted their curse. If your family had been murdered by, say, bears, would you be so quick to accept bears working on your side?

This isn't to say she's right; they're still allies. But red is driven by emotion, and emotion says attacking "reformed" werewolves is the thing to do.
