I think this guy will be popular. he is not boltable, has evasion, infect, and a repeatable proliferate. I think he might replace some contagion clasps in a couple of decks.

And then infinite proliferate combo became easy. Just add your infinite mana engine of choice!
talk about STALL TACTIC. 4 at the back end. man He will win more games than algae gharial. limited obviously

Honestly, this is only good for the proliferate because it can do it many times with enough mana. Who runs blue infect anyway?

I forsee this being a limited bomb.

This thing seems like it will be ridiculously good in limited. I'm looking forward to trying it.

He flies, infects, and proliferates all in one package. 5 stars.

Sure would like to see some flavor text instead of reminders. Very tired of seeing them... awesome card though.

Could do some nasty stuff with a Training Ground or two. Right colour for it too.
While it's almost certainly not a constructed viable tactic, it does get the combo-maniac in me cackling.

Repeatable proliferate on legs (or wings). The abuse, it will be epic.

This is the ONLY source of repeatable proliferate (without a tap symbol in its cost). It's a powerful thing.

Ok, a TINY bit better Wizards, but we are still waiting for a fair costed, decently bodied Drake card.
Art is great. 3/5

@danyo622: Just you wait. Blue infect is going to be a killer, and repeatable proliferate will be the vanguard. This thing only has to hit once, and all they have to do is sink all their mana except 2 into it to win. Best drake I've seen...ever?

This is SCARY with training grounds, even just 1 out can cause a lot of serious problems.

Infect and proliferate already in one easy-to-use package. Could use a Training Grounds, but still, do like.

Use Blighted Agent for quick poison, then this and a Training Grounds or two to proliferate them to death. Add equipment like Darksteel Axe to speed it up. Unfortunately this, Blight Mamba and Fallen Ferromancer are the only infect creatures that benefit from Training Grounds, but this alone is almost worth using it anyway.

Blue infect is now a viable deck. Look at all the control and proliferate you have in blue. Thrummingbird, Tezzeret's Gambit, Steady Progress, Distortion Strike, the list goes on and on. This is one of the best creatures in this block for sure. Best infecter for sure.
I would most certainly consider him in {U}{G} infect, evasion, infect, proliferate and as a 1/4 boltproof...also with that colour combination, his proliferate ability can be used to it's fullest effect since green has mana ramp like crazy.

He's essentially a Shivan Hellkite at uncommon in blue that has splash damage and only sometimes hits creatures. 5/5 for this guy, he's just that good.

This, 2 Training Grounds and a Pentad Prism (or one Training Grounds and two Pentad Prisms) equals infinite proliferate.
Proliferate as long as he's on the field(Training Grounds to boot) and he's got flying to apply a counter or maybe some more if you buff him up.
Distortion Strike for those two infect counters or use that blue spell that switches P and T for 4/1 or 5/1(+Distortion Strike).
Fantastic as a blocker and works as a great supplier of more infect counters although I'd probably stick with more Blighted Agents and buff them up and.. y'know... Get all silly and make WU infect with that Puresteel Paladin for equiping all the living weapons for free rather than their annoying costs.
Something like that.

This thing is a fantastic follow-up to a Turn 2 Blighted Agent. By the time you cast it, the first point of poison has been done. For mono-blue (the only deck where this card is really viable), it's a matter of enjoying that big flying body to block, and to proliferate your opponent until he's stuffed. 5/5.

Clearly I need to go build a Darksteel Reactor deck now.
