I like it. Still waiting for a legitimate spider lord though.

@Tommy9898: I'm using Door of Destinies and it has worked just fine so far ;)

This card is great for more than spider decks, though. EDH tends to fill your graveyard with creatures, or you could play a deck bent on milling yourself.

I really like this sort of open-ended card - it's a different card in every deck 'cause the X value will be vastly different.

arachnus spinner is supposed to be the spider lord.

don't get me wrong, I'm looking for more spider/insect tribal too, like along the lines ofswarmyard.

It's in Dredge colours, it's pretty obvious what sort of deck to put it in. It's even got flashback in case it ends up in the graveyard by mistake.

There's always Adaptive Automaton in the meanwhile. Yeah, I know it's not the same.

the fact that the spiders are still chump blockers if Heartless Summoning is out is pretty cool. not to mention, they can give you blockers if you flashback the turn before casting Army of the Damned, shaking off any worries about the zombies coming in tapped.

and did i mention Parallel Lives or Kessig Cagebreakers with that? INNISTRAD :D

Really awesome in my Golgari deck.
The only downside is now it makes saprolings, worms and spiders >.> It can get confusing.

...and then a loud trumpet sounded and I yelled out, "Sever the Bloodline!"

This is a strong card, excellent for the last stages of a game or if you’re playing themes that fill your graveyard or if your army was wiped-out, etc. Some drawbacks: flashback cost is edging on hefty, plus you’ll need to spend black mana to flashback.

Can't get enough of this card! Such a life-saver! <3

A bit expensive... however, it is good for bouncing back after a board wipe from Wrath of God or spot removal. With one of these in your deck, you don't have to worry about having no creatures. Let them kill your creatures --- just bring them back from the graveyard...twice!

This card is amazing once you throw creatures in the graveyard! I activate this when I have 9 creatures in my graveyard, then flashback it the turn after. 18 1/2 spiders that can put a flying deck out of commission in no time!

It's a nice card, but... I just sort of wish it weren't designed so especially for self-mill.

My Spider Tribal deck can't really make use of this at all :(
