i like the 2/1 for 2, i like the saproling factory, and i like the tempo this thing can make. Worse than azure, better than the rest.

@HairlessThoctar The best part of Nemata ist he sac ability, since it allows you to sac blocked saprolings to buff the others, multiplying their damage.
This card is ok, but I don't like it very much. I mean, if you don't have nemata or ant queen or something, then this is an acceptable replacement. But in the early stages of a match, you want to use your mana to improve your board position, such as in fetching additional lands, for example, and not to get a 1/1 token. And in the late game, just play the mentioned larger versions.

I had the pleasure of encountering all of the mages at the prerelease, and this is the best one. The ability to constantly poop out chump blockers really screwed me over.

So, I took a kinda vote from some people... I officially declare Jade Mage (Yes I'm auto-carding her in her own comment section) to be Miss Magic 2012! Yay! She's really, really cute... If you wanna know... Chandra, the Firebrand came in second...

@Primordial Liege I wasn't lucky enough to pull 3 of each, only one. But I was still running around with an army of deathtouch saprolings at the sealed tournament the other day.
Also, running this and Overrun will make you a very popular person. Running this together with Grave Titan for the zombie tokens will also get you a serious horde of creatures pretty fast.

While green is busy ramping up its lands to get to the big stuff, Jade Mage makes a great low/mid cost card to put any extra mana into. Helps ensure you reach full swing with enough chumps to protect your life. 4.5/5
The art reminds me of Halestorm lead singer Lzzy Hale :D
