lol! yes indeed.. and dangit this would be like the perfect card except that its not remove spore counter for 1 mana its remove saproling.. frankly thats to slow. Even if I play it on turn 1, I can't put out a saproling to sacrifice until turn 3. By turn 3 I could have played a utopia tree, a utopia sprawl, lotus cobra, druid of the anima, or fertile ground. If you have no other things to play on turn 1 I guess it does have that benefit though.

it is nice, sure you cant use the ability till turn 3, but once you do have it, you just go, infinate mana time, as you sac a saproling, make a saproling via some combo, and repeat

This is my basic in my thallid deck cause it's better than thallid and is 0/2 so it can block a lot of weenies at 1st turns. I'm trying multi-colored fungus deck with this as my mana basis.

To brunsbr103: As do I. I beat one of my friends with a Utopia Mycon enchanted with Fists of Ironwood by making a whole lot of saprolings and then using Thallid Germinator to beef it up and kill him!

0/2 trampler for the win!

this guy is great in a thallid, life and limb deck, lets me splice all sorts of paradox haze, 2 color saproling producers while using only forests. and it's a great turn 1 blocker, its great cuz you can tap the saproling for G, then sac it for another color

Get a few extra Sporers in and this thing can be incredibly useful. Add in that other Sporers can give it +1/+1 boosts and hopefully it'll be able to last you all game. You can get a heck of a lot of Mana in one turn with this baby.

Great card, incombination with Fists of Ironwood and/or Fecundity.

Say you have 5 saprolings and Fecundity in play. You sac them all, draw five cards and get five mana, allowing you to play almost everything you've drawn.

I've drawn over a half of my deck in a turn like this (with Mycoloth out).

Its just a 5/5

What do you want your creatures to do?

He costs 1, and has 2 toughness, although in all honesty that never seems to be great enough (I'm not going into power creep here, but just from what I've noticed, power 1 creatures aren't around most standard decks anymore, that's just what I've seen)

He makes mana, its not what he does best, but any color, and he can help you out.

He makes chumps, its not what he does best, but many threats, he can help you out.

All of his abilities are somewhat smaller than wanted, but when you put 3, on a 1 cost?

He is adorable too, not like hug, just nice to look at and ... think of hugging.

What? Multiplayer EDH with Rith, the Awakener as your general, what to do with all that chump mana?

@ Gezus82
Since you are already running blue, you can make this and Life and Limb extra stupid by throwing in faces of the past too.
