More offensive than Corpse Cur. I suppose it has some use as a political weapon in multiplayer. You could always think of him as a delayed Contagion Claspactivation...
Phyrexian things like to make a show of dying, lots of "do fun stuff when this dies!" on their cards XD If you have Glissa the Traitor on your side you can aggro this little guy all day, heh.

I think people are underestimating this guy.
It's either 2 poison counters,
Or killing a 3 toughness or lower creature, plus a poison counter (by T5 you better have a counter on your opponent).
Honestly, even if it isn't as aggro as most competitive infect decks,
This guy is a pretty solid addition to Limited.

Feels a bit underpowered for 4. I don't know if I would make room for this guy in an infect deck, decent but certainly not game breaking.

@Epic Broccoli: Yeah, Core Prowler does trade with x/3s, but a Shock? I think you're thinking of Perilous Myr.
I like this card because of its proliferate effect. Its infect may help or hinder its inclusion in decks I use.
Brutal card. 2/2 Infect is worth about 3. Proliferate is worth about 2. Phyrexia loves sac-ing artifacts.
Zero complaints. Hilariously effective in almost any infect deck.

GIBLIC, but nice flavor. For those who don't know, this is a Herxheimer reaction. When exposed to the first generation of antibiotics, Treponema (the bacterium that causes syphilis) releases all its toxins in its death throes.

Works well with barbed battlegear. Together this trades with x/7's or gives 6 poison counters. It also dies to any damage at all, so it can't be chumped by a 1/1 :D

EDIT: By Shock I mean, it does 1 poison counter worth of damage to a player which is equivalent to a Shock.
"Let's see, I'll make Core Prowler a 5/5... oh, you Doom Blade him? Well I guess Tezzeret gets more loyalty and you get more poison. Boo hoo."
Zero complaints. Hilariously effective in almost any infect deck.
