I'll be sure to pick a few of these up at the Prerelease. Fun fun.

There is something seriously wrong with the flavor of this card...
Where are you going wall of denial? And how did you fit in a horse-drawn chariot?

Helloooooo Illusionary Wall!

Yes, Wall of Denial would be a funny thing to stick on this, but it has shroud. It can't be equipped!

Now just picture in your head a huge wall riding in a chariot.

Also I would love to slap this thing on a Stoic Ephemera.

This card is all sorts of confusing flavor-wise.

Maybe there are people manning the wall and they get in? I don't know.

Finally a use for a deck running Dark Maze (much better than Wall Of Wonder imo). Running this equipment with that wall, the aforementioned Illusionary Wall, maybe Wall Of Razors sounds like a good aggro strategy. Weird, but fun.

I also love how this art's centerpiece is the horse's butt. Keeping it clas.sy, Wizards.

At first I thought there was some guy stuck up the horse's rear, then I realized it's just a severed head. Those walls are nasty.

okay so if you're playing a wall deck in standard, you'll probably going for control. you probably won't need to attack as much, plus putting a +2/+2 isn't gonna do much damage to make this your killer. you can add it to soulbound gaurdians for a 6/7 flyer but the equip cost is way too much. if you can equip it for 1 then i'd buy this card. or if it also gives vigilance then this could have been a solid card.

LOL on the artwork... the guy's head by the horse's ass... classic... should have been a moving rampart with guys behind it or something...

Very situational, but sticking this on a Rage Nimbus is never a bad idea.

On the flavor comments, they should have called it "seige tower" to make it clear that it lets walls attack, in a more medieval mode.

As for uses, think a wall of fire from M10. Becomes a 2/7 with firebreathing, just add red mana...

The Alara block 3/6 fatties in blue and black, and any of the large blue sea serpents in recent sets, are also decent candidates.

Four of these and Doran, the Siege Tower in a Defender deck would really mess with things. Your walls can attack AND they do large amounts of damage!

@ lukemol - You read my mind, that was the first wall I thought of when I saw this.

My second thought? Sunweb.

You guys, this is an awesome defense against Guard Duty, which is pretty much the most common removal in draft. Plus it's not bad on its own.

This + Stoic Ephemera + Serra's Blessing + Sinstriker's Will = a flying 7/7 that can attack and laser blast attackers the next turn.. my fav so far with this card.. three cost 2-3, one 4 mana, so even if your land screwed you can pull this off pretty easily.

This isn't particularly powerful, but it is astonishingly hilarious to put this on a Roc Egg and have it ride into battle. It's even more hilarious if it kills something.

The Warmonger would like all you inexplicably mobile walls and Roc Eggs to kindly get out of his chariot. He has damage to spread around.

A thundering gallop is heard as the enemy force swiftly moves in towards this last stronghold of the loyalist forces... the men inwardly prepare themselves for the gory battle about to unfold on the battlefield before them... all gasp in terror as their enemy reveals itself over the horizon... the hero of the rebellion presents itself... Wall of Wood.

None lived to tell that tale.

Well, except me.

I TOO AM A WALL.

Absolutely no flavor whatsoever, but it was fun to give my Kitesail Apprentice flying with two of these

two cups warmongers chariot
three teaspoons overgrown battlement
three teaspoons harabaz druid
four heaping tablespoons of makindi shieldmate
add a pinch of genesis wave, and sprinkle allies for flavor....massive makindi shieldmate "defender"

Wall of Frost on a chariot? Riiiiight.

In the right deck, this card deserves at least 4/5. Vigean Hydropon becomes a monster when equipped with this, and Overgrown Battlement gives you plenty of mana to cast and equip this pretty early.

Sorry Grimja, Vigean Hydropon doesn't benefit from this. It doesn't have Defender.

Wizards waited for the perfect moment to print this idiom on a card. Spot-on!

But I think it wouldn't have hurt to simply make this a strictly better Vulshok Morningstar.

Also, to make this more appealing for constructed, they could even have given us an alternate equip cost of 0 for creatures with defender. Now that would be interesting! offenders.dec, here I come!
