This is pretty useful. The second round won't come as a surprise, but it's a good deterrent.

This is very useful in aggro, turn 1 a goblin guide with stomping grounds, turn 2 a wild nacatl and this at the same time, turning the goblin guide into a 4/4, go next turn play loam lion and another prey's vengeance.. not hard to understand how nuts this can be really fast. Especially if you play in a fetchland steppe lynx deck, you get a 6 power creature on turn 2.
Little bit of trivia, this is the opposite card to irresistible prey, and the creature is a meepling turned giant and fighting back a young baloth.

...Or is it a GIANTER Meepling fighting the same Baloth in Irresistible Prey? ... :3
One of the better Giant Growth variants ever printed...I love to see this card in my pool...if you play green, you want this card...

I run 4 in my deck, and all I'm doing in my upkeep is rebounding it. In a red and green deck, it's awesome.

"The second round won't come as a surprise, but" against Infect, terrific!

Think of it like a +4/+4 Spell (Vines of Vastwood, Invigorate, Groundswell) that is spread over 2 turns. Now, because it is spread over 2 turns, it can be more effective at producing damage than those +4/+4 spells, because you get the additional damage from the creature's attack twice, instead of once. Look at it this way:
Or, same scenario, but you play Prey's Vengeance instead. Then you get in for 3 this turn (2 + 1), and 3 next turn (2 + 1). However, it must be noted that this is NOT strictly better, in that the +4/+4 spells pump for more in one go, being able to get over larger creatures. However, in something like Infect Stompy, I would probably run this over the +4/+4 spells, or event better right along side them.
No one has pointed this out yet, so I feel it is my duty. This spell comboed with Livewire Lash. This card will proc the livewire twice. I run this in my infect deck.. A potential 8 infect counters to the base for G? 4 of them guaranteed? YES PLEASE.

It's a great pump spell if you're playing with durable creatures that won't easily be killed in between the first and second cast. A shame it doesn't give trample, but it's still pretty solid as is.

I'm really disappointed that this doesn't have flavor text but Irresitible Prey does

You control a Silhana Ledgewalker. Now, you play a Groundswell with landfall, and get in for 5 damage (4+ 1)
