With a play set of Naya Charm, Retaliator Griffin, and This Card i drew 18 cards, played naya charm tapped all his creatures, and did 18 damage after titanic ultimatum... Tremendous potential...

With the current mana ramp, I can now play Terra Stomper Turn 4, and this Turn 5 to draw 8 cards on Turn 5! Woot!

Far too slow for most formats.

I do enjoy routinely drawing 8 cards in EDH though~

if I have that much power its not likely i'll need to draw cards in a hurry

@Fastpond

You'd be surprised how quickly a game can turn around. All it takes is Path, a Wrath, or something to that effect.

Anyone that likes this card might like Momentous Fall (when it's released in Rise of the Eldrazi). You have to sacrifice the creature but you also get a bunch of life (if it also has a large toughness) and it costs 1 mana less overall.

Great card, unless you're being milled.

@TreeTrunkMaster:
And it's an Instant, so you can use it as a response to someone trying to remove your creature.

If only this had a similar effect like Rush of Knowledge. The fact that it targets a creature at sorcery speed makes it prone to all kinds of countermeasures. I would probably use it only if I was to have creatures like Plated Slagwurm, where the opponent can't quite do much and you draw a bunch of cards. However, with this effect, cards like Momentous Fall or Greater Good seem like a much better choice for most decks. Some might even benefit from Fecundity, but it all depends on what deck build you are aiming at.

Too slow, too risky - 3/5.

Used this to draw 66 cards today... then used Loaming Shaman the next turn to return everything back to my deck, after picking out the select few cards I needed, of course. An excellent card.

I happen to have 50 cards in hand. So I just happen to play this on my Overbeing of Myth. And then I just HAPPEN to find it again, and play it again. And then AGAIN. And I just happen to have my deck made of 1337 cards. And I just HAPPEN to have a Berserk, and just HAPPEN to use it on my Overbeing of Myth, and just HAPPEN to completely and utterly crush all enemies. Somehow.

Precursor Golem likes this.

Play with Psychosis Crawler. Mana isn't a problem for green, so stfu about this being slow. Just use some Wild Growth and Llanoward Druid (or whatever you have for mana) and you'll end up casting this on a Plated slagwurm very quickly.

Really slow, but my favorite thing to do is to drop it on eldrazi. At that point you're going to win anyway.

Garruk, Primal Hunter is this card with a {G} heavy cost and that can do much, much more.

@Fert12334 .... this can't target Emrakul, The Aeons Torn because it has protection from colored spells.

That said though.. you can draw 9 if you successfully cast this targetting Precursor Golem with his two buddies in play.

Also, card draw in {G} is hard to come by, and this meshes nicely with the powerful creatures provided by {G}.
