Maybe I'm crazy but I don't mind it much. It's just an overcosted midrange creature and I really wouldn't mind filling out my curve with one of these in a draft. It's not anywhere near as unshatteringly abysmal as people say it is. Yeah, it's cr@p, but of a relatively mild variety. 1/5

I like how they dredged it up, hit it with lightning and enchanted it with fire, and made a Lightning Reaver. Also the art is the only thing this has going for it, but still... dat art.

I know a ton of people love to hate on this card too, but have you ever thought of the devastation and advantage you cause if you choose him when you use Divine Reckoning?! Didn't think so. -Unburial Rites. The epic reanimator powerhouse of the latest Solar Flare decks. Totally horrible, never worth a second glance. I made a point about "extinct" creatures and how they should flavourfully be bad (see Viashino Skeleton).
This is one of those cards: They went extinct because they died off due to natural selection. It's just a shame they are being forced into this world that has evolved beyond them and judged unfairly.
...Almost like an analogy for power creep.
