Aura swap hasn't come up yet; is there to be an Aura block? Presumably it'll come right after the World Enchantment block; Wizards seems to hate Aurae, but I'm holding out hope!

Doubtful that Aura Swap will ever be on anything but this card...but hey, this one's plenty cool :D
Also, we have a new toy: Eldrazi Con***ion.

Rather than an Aura block, an Enchantment block seems more likely. After all they do Artifact block, multicolor blocks and tribal blocks.

I like how Wizards says "Oh hell, we haven't done an artifact block since Mirrodin, let's do it again!" when the last "Enchantment block" was SUPPOSED to be the Urza's block, which was at least 4 years prior. I guess artifacts are just more well-liked than enchantments...

I noticed in izzet_guild_mage's post that the scri pt was taken out of Eldrazi Conscri ption.
What's wrong with saying scri pt?

I hope we get an enchantment block soon :) and I pray we see this mechanic. This works especially well with any of the Totem Armors, if they target one of your creatures just aura swap for totem armor and don't lose any card advantage.

I can't wait to see this reprinted in other set. That includes more Aura Wsap -cards.
OH, this is just so nice card that you don't want to on your opponents creatures.

@Entropic_Acolyte: Either Wizards thought that Rise of the Eldrazi counted as an enchantment block (you know, with all of those Totem Armor auras going about), or else they took a look through the countless comments from players complaining about getting 2 for 1'ed when they cast auras on their creatures only to find it getting killed by removal shortly after, and then decided that players in general complain a lot about auras, and that they therefore should hold back on printing new ones since nobody likes them anyways.

I for once love Arcanum Wings a lot. The artwork is beautiful, the flavor text is good, and the card is amazing. Somebody should really try and make a deck with this, Eldrazi Con***ion and Academy Researchers. I'm sure that it's gonna be epic, dropping 12/12 Academy Researchers with Annihilator 2 and Trample on turn 3 on a regular basis.

Other blue beneficial auras of note are:
Pemmin's Aura - Provides your creature with an array of useful abilities.
Diplomatic Immunity - An aura with Shroud that provides your creature with Shroud too.
Followed Footsteps - Copies your creature each turn.
Fool's Demise - Returns the enchanted creature to the battlefield under your control if it is put into a graveyard, and returns itself to your hand if it's put into a graveyard. It even steals your opponents' creatures!
Infiltrator's Magemark - Buffs all enchanted creatures you control (ps. yes, it does stack).

You might also wanna play Horseshoe Crab in the same deck along with Psionic Gift for the combo potential, but I'll leave that up to you to decide :)

It allows you to split up the cost of Mind Control into two separate parts, lets the second part be at instant speed, and doesn't reveal what you're actually throwing down. "Here, have an Arcanum Wings"

@Vedalken_Arbiter: "Rather than an Aura block, an Enchantment block seems more likely. After all they do Artifact block, multicolor blocks and tribal blocks." Are you being facetious? Mirrodin = artifact block, Ravnica & Shards of Alara = multicolor blocks, Lorwyn = tribal block.

Technically we've already had an enchantment block, it just isn't known very well apparently. The actual "Enchantment Set" was in fact Urza's Saga block, which gave us cards like Rancor and Argothian Enchantress. Also, Wizards in know way thinks the few Totem armors in Rise of the Eldrazi make it count as an Enchantment Deck; the auras just needed to be stronger to match the power of the Eldrazi, fully leveled level-up guys, and rebound spells. Still, an Enchantment Set where R&D makes it clear that that's what they're actually doing could possibly be in our future, up there with a return to Ravnica and a Wedge block.

This could possibly be from the return to Ravnica set. If not, I want this block soon anyways.

Aura Swap, sounds interesting. I hope they work on that in the future. It may not be "spike-like", but at least it will please the Johnnies out there :D

Kelrath:

You can use "script" tags and other such code to screw up the website. I suspect they also censor other strings that could break the page code, but script is the one most likely to come up in normal conversation.

As for whether or not I think this keyword is going to show up, I kind of doubt it. Aura Swap gets less interesting with every card it's on; you'd really just play the cheapest ones to cast/activate.

I like everything about it, flavor most of all. Beautiful and inspiring. The mechanic is interesting too, but may be one of those effects that's more cool than useful.

This could totally be happening on Ravnica. Makes me excited for RTR.

Oh my:
Shape of the Wiitigo

Use this combo to put 6 +1/+1 counters on something; say Triskelion; and then simply bounce this aura back to your hand. T3 you have a +6/+6 permanent boost on something and T5 you can do it again.

Consider this with Drake Familiar

I'm reading through Blogatog and I see Maro responded to at least two questions vaguely linking Theros and Future Sight. As I look at Future Sight cards, lo and behold, I see a toga-clad noble flying up to Olympus.

Is Theros the fabled enchantment-matters set? I wait for news from the San Diego Comic Con this Saturday with bated breath.

I love the card frame on these cards, especially the vanillas. I think all vanillas should be on this type frame. In the "future" maybe they will bring this back...? Is that a paradox?

Wouldn't mind seeing this and other aura-swappers in Journey into nyx. Dont thing its going to happen, but, you know...

Would really love this mechanic to appear in Journey into Nyx. Swapping out something like this for an Alpha Authority or a Bestow creature like Ghostblade Eidolon at instant speed would be awesome.
