You could use this in a reanimator deck and after it copied your Avatar of Woe you may still call it back to life.

Saw a pretty crazy infinite combo with this and Reveillark today. Essentially made it keep returning itself to the battlefield.

Red Elemental Blast seems better for a Cerulean Wisps combo excluding the target of akroma... even though a two for one isn't often considered great, or good for that matter.

Absolutely lovely to play with Jace. Discard your opponent's top twenty cards, then take control of the best creature. He's going in my deck.

With Leyline of Anticipation, you could copy an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn this way. :) Step One: Get an Emrakul into a graveyard Step Two: Emrakul's final ability triggers. Step Three: Cast Body Double (it now has flash!) Step Four: Body Double resolves, then Emrakul's ability resolves.

so I kinda like rise from the grave better, because it's black.
though blue is my second favorite color, and this is a nice card and does do some cool combo's.
also in response to the question about phage, no you wouldn't lose, since the card comes into play as phage I think it counts as casting phage from your hand.
same is true of clone.
even unstable shapeshifter wouldn't kill you since phages you lose the game ability triggers when she enter's play (without being hardcast) and the shapeshifter is considered to already be in play (even if it changes come into play effects don't trigger, unlike this card)

Beter Combo with Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . Step One: Declare Attack phase Step Two: Turn sideways Step Three: ...profit
if you want to take 2 extra turns Time Stretch is slightly more efficient and easier to pull off.

In U/B I generally prefer Dimir Doppelganger, since you can reuse it and completely remove an enemy threat. But this is great if you're not running black, and doesn't need any preparation either.

1. Cerulean Wisps on your opponent's best creature (Maybe Akroma, Angel of Wrath?).
2. Saltblast that creature.
3. Body Double it to create your own version.
Obviously, you'll need mana producers, like Obelisk of Bant or Obelisk of Esper, to pull this off. But the gains are astronomical.
