I am not too fond of the creature itself but I like the flavor text. "It took the Rimewind cultists days to realize they had successfully activated the creature—it just wasn't interested in moving." :)

It looks very mediocre, but giving it a cool tap effect can really make your day.
It's also quite cheap for a 3/4.

I think it is rather good for budget players.

Being an artifact it kan find a home in any deck.

It is an excellent defender and can attack (and threaten to defend) if needed.

Sure there are better cards - but for the budget player this is quite good. It works with all colors and is a good deterrent.

You may think it is bad, but then try playing against it and see how much you sweat over it. It's such a lovely beater in the right hands.

3 of any color for a 3/4 is already pretty nice, throw in being able to untap at will and we've a winner.
Besides playability its got great art and text as well.

Much better version of Phyrexian War Beast.

Phyrexian Ironfoot is in no way mediocre. This card was a 4-of in lots of tournament decks during TSP/LRW standard. There were some top 8 decks that ran snow lands just for this.

The ability to untap at any time is what makes this good. Other cards with similar untapping restrictions tend to force you to pay the cost only during your upkeep or untap step.

Art is quite beautiful. A frozen construct artifact creature? This is the reason why he didn't show up in Mirrodin sets...

Not bad, Hearstone or Training Grounds work well with him. Can easily see him in a deck with Pili-Pala, acompanied by Paradise Mantle, and maybe other stuff too.

It's kinda funny that I disagree with every one of american vigor's choices except the two WAY overpowered ones: metalworker and scarecrone.

Fact is, this card is awesome, The replicas suck ass by comparison. This guy can fake vigilance, is a great blocker, can work with tap effects, and is also a decent little beater, fitting into any deck. Sweet if you ask me.

very good from my point of view. while it can't untep by itself, it makes for that by being a 3/4 body for three mana ( see Rhox War Monk ) and it can be FORCED to untap at any time. I can definetly see this being used as a 4-of in some seriously competetive decks.

i give 4.5/5
