When is it worth it when you have to potentially kill one of your own creatures just to play something that can die to Incinerate? I imagine if Vigor was in the battlefield it would make sense, but other than him I can't think of that many other creatures that would have good synergy with this moloch.

Stalking Vengeance? Nah, still not really.

Bad card. Move along.

"Growers"
Protean Hydra
Phytohydra

Token generators
Broodhatch Nantuko
Saber Ants
Sekki, Seasons' Guide
Tuktuk the Explorer (if they didn't block him)
Rukh Egg

Damage redirectors
Coalhauler Swine
Spitemare (+ Mogg Maniac, Stuffy Doll, etc)

Misc.
Academy Rector
Body Snatcher
Mindslicer (good for hellbent?)
Act of Treason + other creature-stealers

So there are probably more interactions than people think, but nevertheless pretty slim pickings. Still, I think this is a mediocre rather than horrible card. Obviously not tournament-viable, but you could probably make some funky casual deck using it.

If you want his ability, chances are you want Spiteful Bully instead.

"It's a vanilla 6/3 for 4R if you can mitigate its ability. It's a vanilla 6/3 for 4R if you can't. Nope, there's no good reason to play a whiptail."
