Really speeds up creature decks.

run with rowen for fun times

If you draw a creature on an opponents turn, Etchings activates. In other words, its good with things such as Mind's Eye and Jayemdae Tome.
Rowen works the same way.

Run with rowen and dryad arbor to draw 2 cards.

Enchantment removal is much less common. That being said, you don't run this and Rowen or the Oracle. You run either or, based on the composition of your deck.

You guys keep talking about rowen with this card but Oracle of Mul Daya is hands down better in combination.

@ Ideatog true but that arguemant is horribly one sided. it doesn't matter what you put on the table removal comes in many froms. Hull Breach or Naturalize or Confiscate or Oblivion Ring or Demystify Back to Nature Quiet Disrepair

my original point was in combo the two cards work better not which is easier to keep on the board.

Hate to break it to you, Mata, but Dryad Arbor is non-basic, so it doesn't interact with Rowen.

What happens if i control Abundance and this? what comes in first? for example, instead of drawing, I declare Non-land (or land). Does Primitive Etching triggers? since it stated if i "drew".

Neat card. definitely better than Rosen. Synergizes really nicely with cards like brainstorm and scroll rack

Because Abundance is a replacement effect, you first decide if you want to draw normally or use Abundance's ability. If you use Abundance you aren't "drawing" so Primitive Etchings is ignored. If you ignore abundance you will be drawing, so Primitive Etchings triggers.

I don't believe Primitive Etchings works with Scroll Rack, as Scroll Rack doesn't have you "draw" cards, but rather puts them into your hand.
