This has the potential to literally beat out Giant Growth (on average rated about 4.2) as one of green's best combat tricks, and even with the variability of not getting enough devotion, this will see a lot of play. 4/5 for now, although I may revise later

Combos with Vanquish the Foul if you use it on your opponent's creatures.

This card is so simple and elegant with cool art (her robes are forming hydra heads) it gets a 5/5 on my Vorthos rank regardless of playability.

Not as good as Giant Growth in the early game, but in the later game, it wins by a fair stretch. This could be a great finisher for a green devotion deck.

This card is a thing. But, as a member of the Le Reddit army I think this card is a meh over all.

This is generally either win-more or a dead draw but I'll still be happy to tinker with it and the few other devotion cards that Pauper has gotten. I'm sure devotion won't make much of a splash in Pauper, nor outside Standard even (unless you count the Merchant), but it could be a fun failed experiment.

your mama so fat, she outnumbered you, alone.

@JimmyNoobPlayer, Unfortunately the actual cycle contains Sanguimancy and Skyreaping instead.
@Megadog: Oh yeah, common and uncommon. But there's no way you can look at Aspect of Hydra and Thassa's Rebuff and not think, "Aspect of Hydra : Giant Growth :: Thassa's Rebuff : Mana Leak."
For best results, please apply directly to the localized Wild Beastmaster, and please exorcize caution when playing with lures.

Wow. A lot of potential here in a heroic green deck. Trigger the counters and growth on top of that. Yeah, just stupid simple elegant.

Not nearly as good as Giant Growth, since Giant Growth has the potential to save a creature in the early game. However, this is a sweet finisher for any green deck. 3.5/5
Arts is really cool! Nice card we should all have a closer look at it.

People will hate you if you use this in a Mono–Green Infect deck…

When you'd cast Giant Growth early is generally cause your opponent expected to trade and the extra toughness might not matter. Obviously much better midgame on. The real issue is how terrible it is to top deck with nothing on board after a board wipe. But it isn't that much worse than a Giant Growth at that point. All in all another fun variant on a classic card. Maybe some crazy mono green pauper deck will find a home for it.

LOVE the art. My favorite big marquee is hydra, so this is pretty cool. Other than the art though, it's a meh card.

Has anyone read that flavor text? Medal please

Great card in a mono green deck. When you use right cards, it's much better than Giant Growth. Instead of some Forests, you can have few creatures like Arbor Elf or enchant lands like Wild Growth to make this card work even better. Then your creatures like Garruk's Companion or Leatherback Baloth will get extremly high bonus for just one mana.

This card is incredibly elegant. The name, the effect, the flavor text, the cost, the art – everything aligns to create a wonderful work of art. I love it.

4/5 for now, although I may revise later
Mana Leak = Thassa's Rebuff with devotion 3.
Test of Faith is eerily similar to Acolyte's Reward with devotion 3, I'm sure adding counters would be insanely overpowered.
Song of Blood = Thunderous Might with devotion instead of milling.
Razorjaw Oni = Marshmist Titan with devotion 3. Not counting the whole unblockable thing.
@Megadog: Oh yeah, common and uncommon. But there's no way you can look at Aspect of Hydra and Thassa's Rebuff and not think, "Aspect of Hydra : Giant Growth :: Thassa's Rebuff : Mana Leak."
The list should include Ancient Craving and maybe Squall.
T2 Forest, Burning-Tree Emissary, Kalonian Tusker
T3 Forest, Burning-Tree Emissary, Boon Satyr, Attack with whatever you can. Cast this on whatever isn't blocked. You've now spent 1 for +9/+9.
T4 Rinse and Repeat
Sorry. My bad.
Nice card we should all have a closer look at it.
