Cool card. Difficult to cast with three colors. Sure, he's still great even when you get your eight land, but not being able to cast him from five lands is missing the point of this card...

I understand that Commander is a slow format and it takes a little bit to build up to 5 mana, but this thing is by default a 8/8 flyer with lifelink for 5 CMC. Lifelink helps it stay buff, and it's quite the beater. Interesting choice to reprint when it's quite powerful in the format.
