"Wow, Firebreathing wasn't good enough?" --Pendulous
Quite frankly no, it wasn't. :D
Firebreathing has the average aura's "2 for 1"-problem, since you easily end up at a card disadvantage if your opponent hits your enchanted creature with removal.
Making this a cantrip makes all the difference between bad and decent, at least in constructed. That issue with auras is a major thing they tried to fix in Theros, which is an enchantment-based cycle after all. One reason they introduced the heroic mechanic was to make them even more appealing. And I'd say they absolutely succeeded :D

And thus was Firebreathing finally good enough to the community. And lo, did they rejoice at those magic words. "Draw a card."

This really puts the one power from black and two toughness for white to shame...

If you're playing red in Limited, then you're picking all of these you can find. This card is a house in Limited and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it showed up in Standard or even Pauper. That's probably it though, since I mean, it's just firebreathing. But still, a Firebreathing that cantrips for a mere one mana! This is definitely one of the better/best Auras that has been printed. I can't tell you how many times my opponent won with this card alone. It was more than one. MORE THAN ONE.
Wow, they finally obsoleted Firebreathing! And best of all, they made it a cantrip!

This set is kind of revolutionizing enchantments. Very cool direction(s).

@Tiggurix: Firebreathing has been obsolete for 16 years.

I was sad that Wizards didn't bring Curiosity back with Theros but this actually makes up for it a fair bit.

Every set, there is a card that I completely overlook on initial release, but I end up realizing it's worth once I start playing with it. In Theros, that card is Dragon Mantle. I don't even remember seeing it when they released the image gallery, but when I was building a Rakdos Weenie deck and was looking for something cheap to trigger heroic on Tormented Hero, I tossed a few of these into the deck. Firebreathing with card draw. Has been a difference-maker for me on more than one occasion, even when it isn't triggering heroic. This and Madcap Skills have allowed for some pretty massive early round swings with my deck.

This guy has a new friend in Journey into Nyx: Prophetic Flamespeaker. A common enchanting a mythic... never was there a more ironic combo.

Now this is a proper aura, great work. No hidden drawback in sight, 5/5.

What do they have in common?
They should have been in Alpha.
