There are so many decks that can use this, especially in the current environments. Simic is obvious, but other guilds like +1/+1 counters. And UG is the bridge between UB and GB Zombies, both of which also like their +1/+1 counters.
Getting card advantage for doing something you would normally do anyway is always good in my books! I think I'll clear out some Fathom Mages to make room for this...
@TCollins: Well, there ARE a few cases where you might not want to draw a card at the moment (you're at real risk of getting milled away, Chains of Mephistopheles are wrapped around you...).
i still prefer coastal piracy over this despite the higher mana cost so you can use whatever creatures you want.

Really? A 4.1 for a card that's completely unplayable in constructed? It's so situational. 1) You need a creature. That's not always a given when removal is flying around. And that's the best of the three conditions. 2) You need that creature to have a +1/+1 counter on it. Even if your deck is full of evolves and counter-givers, you can't always rely on that. Plus having counters on a creature makes it more likely to be the target for removal. 3) You need that creature to deal damage. Again, that's hard to always guarantee. 4) After all that, you draw maybe 1-2 cards if you're really lucky. It's just not worth it.

I'm not sure I understand the flavor of this card. What does drawing a card because a creature has a +1/+1 token on it have to do with the creature being "Bred for the hunt"? I hate it when they make cards like this. On the other hand, I suppose we should cut them some slack, seeing as how they HAVE designed thousands and thousands of cards over the years, and they're clearly starting to run out of spell names that haven't been used yet. One of my favorite awful card names has got to be Totally Lost, as in "I was walkin' through the slums of Ravnica and I was like, Totally Lost, braah..."

Effectively Coastal Piracy on the cheap. Commander Jenara, Asura of War should be interested, or anything that uses graft or undying.

(The retro creature type, not the people who like winning games.)
