Using this on a hexproof creature will be all kinds of insanity.

this guy is the main reason among others that you should never tap out against Gruul. It won't be pretty. I can't wait to finish games with this guy. What a beast! ,except he's an ogre. So what an Ogre!

trust me, unless you've played with him, you probably underestimated him. at the prerelease I killed a player in one turn by bloodrushing this and a scorchwalker onto a slaughterhorn, dealing 22 damage.

Sure, a 5-mana 3/3 with double strike is not all that impressive. But to be able to grant +3/+3 and double strike to a creature at instant speed by an ability that can't be easily countered is downright sickening.

Moment of absolute glory in limited: cipher a Stolen Identity onto it, then get 2 tokens every turn.

He's expensive, but that's because he'd be kind of OP if he wasn't. a 3/3 doublestriker is nothing to sneeze at. Making his bloodrush just as much as his CMC is very fair, because giving an unblocked creature a boost AND double strike is just evil. He's expensive, but worth. Honestly, I like him more than Skarrg Goliath, both for playability in bloodrush and regular casting. Definitely a good lategame card.

Amazing bloodrush, stick on an unblocked Malignus to win

I pulled this in a draft on Friday. I may have only gone 2-2 that night, but it was 100% worth it when I bloodrushed with this monster to swing for 20 and killed my opponent in one turn, when he definitely would have otherwise won the game. This thing is a limited BOMB.

Editor: You're one of our more...unusual...applicants, Mr. Ogre. And you feel qualified to serve as the paper's architecture critic?
Wrecking Ogre: (straightens glasses) Well, if I may tout my credentials in an overt manner, I have examined schools of design and building methods across a multitude of planes of existence. I'm versed in what you might call "New New International". That's something of a joke we have at the Gruul Academy, heh.
Editor: I see. Let's try a sample of your talents. (shows Wrecking Ogre picture of Guggenheim Museum Bilbao). Tell me what you think of this building.
Wrecking Ogre: Hmmm (strokes chin thoughtfully), the curves are daring, evocative of Gehry's style, but not borrowing too heavily from the past. The atriums are a brilliant contrivance, and the building compliments its surroundings beautifully without getting lost. Truly, a stunning- wait, are those titanium panels?
Editor: Umm, yeah, I believe the Guggenheim has titanium panels.
Wrecking Ogre: ...TITANIUM PANELS GET SMASHED NOW! SMAAAASH! (starts bashing walls with oversized morning star and club) OVERDONE AND CLICHED! OGRE BASH BUILDING INTO RUBBLE! RAAAAARRRGH! (stomps out of building through new hole in wall)
Editor: (sighs) Next applicant.

"Battalioned Legion Loyalist? What's the worst that could happen?"
This thing consistently ends games from so far away that the opponent isn't even doing the 'How much can he boost it?' math. Of course, even if they are, you usually get some favourable trades and chump blocks just because it's in your deck somewhere.
Fun Fact: In Godo, Bandit Warlord EDH, this card lets him swing for 24 general damage.
I've killed people with both him AND his Bloodrush.
He's bloody insane. At first he looks like an unimpressive Rare next to the crazy multicoloured stuff, but he's found a way into my Warrior Deck after one-hit-KO-ing a Zombie player.

I was playing a Gatecrash draft, and I had gone Gruul/Simic. In one game, my opponent was destroying me with Dimir/Orzhov. I had a Keymaster Rogue in play, and this card in hand. My opponent was one turn away from killing and/or milling me. I drew Ghor-Clan Rampager and suddenly "10/9 DOUBLE STRIKE UNBLOCKABLE WIN".
Talk about awesome.

I know someone who was losing at draft with oponnent at twenty. he swung with a ruination wurm. His opponent took then he bloodrushed for the win.

That's one big ogre. And yet somehow smaller than a Towering Thunderfist. I get the feeling ogres and giants do not have a consistent size reference in MtG's design files. Granted power and toughness aren't always good indicators of size anyway, but even the visual inconsistency is a little off-putting.
Anyway, because it just had to be said...
"I'M GONNA WRECK IT!"
Also, this guy is gonna get scary in monored devotion ramp. A Burning-Tree Emissary or Ash Zealot will be able to swing for 10 damage turn 3 easily.
