It's not another Scoria Elemental. And for that I am eternally grateful.

Decent enough in limited.

It's a Scoria Elemental that excels at anything other than being Scoria Elemental.

It's basically a burn spell. 3 mana for 5 damage to your opponent's face. Pretty sweet.

It's actually similar to a Ball Lightning, instead of a putting a creature into play it pumps one of your attackers. More surprise factors.

This thing saved my ass so many times at the pre-release, even pumping a 1/1 can be devastating and slapping it on something with evasion is amazing.

Why is there a headless naked mannequin in the bottom right?

Will be getting played for it's bloodrush more often than being played as a creature. Nice combat trick in limited.

Not sure if it would be worth it in standard, but in limited this is a bomb that can end games. Don't think I'd play it as a creature very often because of the ease of dealing just one damage in all formats, the Bloodrush is potentially devastating what with some of the double strike available. It's a good pick in draft.

If you can find some way to give a creature double strike and/or trample (Domri Rade) then the pump spell would be potentially deadly.

That headless guy in the bottom-right looks pretty damn smug.
