There seems to be a few multiplayer damage dealing things around lately... Guttersnipe, Lobber Crew, and this...
Depending on how many gates you put in your deck, this could be useful in casual.

I snap this gate down, activate my crackle, and pop you for 1 damage!

This should have been either "deals 1 damage to target CREATURE or player" or "deals 2 damage to target player" or as it is but COMMON. I usually do not complain about cards, but even my Johnny side doesn't want to mingle with this purely because it seems inefficient (and this being said as a NON-spike...) - It's like Pyroconvergence in this respect...

This actually makes Urban Burgeoning a card worthy of second to last pick. But the real juicy synergy is when we will be drafting all three sets and you pull a Rakdos, Lord of Riots.

This card is an insane win con for turbo fog. You run 34 guildgates (4x all that produce red / green, 2x the others) 18 fog spells, 4 Urban Burgeoning (untaps for fog spells and lets you burn them twice a turn) and 4 Crackling Perimeter. It can even beat aggro decks.

I'm just gonna say that unless you plan on using amulet of vigor with this, this card is absolutely dreadful.
The win condition for the inevitable gate-based deck. You wait, you just wait!

I want to build some type of naya gate deck with this, gatecreeper vine, greenside watcher and hold the gates.
With just the incolor gates, you'll be using 12 of them in your deck. Hold the gates will allow you to attack each turn and still block with your creatures. The high toughness on your creatures will make a pretty successful shield against attacks while you ping your oponent to death with this card. Gatecreeper vine will increase the potency of both this and hold the gates, while greenside watcher can accelerate mana and and allow this to make an extra ping.

Now I know what to do with my untapped Gate land.

Wow. I really hope that this gets played with Snap and the resulting deck is called Rice Krispies.

This could have been made bonkers.
2R Enchantment-Rare T: Deal 1 damage to each opponent for each Gate you control.
Maybe I'm thinking that wording is stronger than it is. Maybe that's still an uncommon effect safe at 1R. :P But, it's still cool. ^^

Yup. I'm totally building a Gate deck. This and Gateway Shade will be the main win conditions.

What a bad card. They should have made it deal more damage because a tapped land is not worth one damage to each opponent.
If you have two Crackling Perimeters on the battlefield and you tap one gate for damage, does it activate both Crackling Perimeters and deals 2 damage or just 1 damage? Thanks. Can you provide official rules to back up any answers?

Won me so many games in Block Drafts. Just draft defenders, fogs and all the gates in the world plus this. Turn gates sideways. Do 3-5 damage a turn. Win. This might just be the card a Maze's End deck needs for an alternate win-con.

If you have multiple copies of this out, do they stack? Or are they redundant?

This won me so many limited game. Draft 1 of these and like 4-6 gates and it's soooo powerful. especially early on

I had the same Q, and found/confirmed the A on another board:
In case of multiple Crackling Perimeters, and just one Gate tapped to activate, you would just deal just 1 damage.
Best way to look at it is that the ability is phrased as: "Cost: Effect"
If you pay the cost (tap one Gate), you get the effect (deal one damage). And you can't apply one cost to pay for multiple effects. Here's the relevant bit of the actual rule:
117.10. Each payment of a cost applies to only one spell, ability, or effect. For example, a player can't sacrifice just one creature to activate the activated abilities of two permanents that each require sacrificing a creature as a cost.
If instead it was a triggered ability, and phrased something like "Whenever a Gate you control becomes tapped, deal 1 damage to each opponent", then both your enchantments would trigger, and you'd deal 2 damage.

But that's not the case, with Crackling Perimeter.
Done and done. This is my list:
4 Crackling Perimeter
4 Urban Burgeoning
4 Fog
4 Undergrowth
4 Ethereal Haze
4 Holy Day
3 Spore Frog
3 Kami of False Hope
4 Gruul Guildgate
4 Selesnya Guildgate
4 Boros Guildgate
3 Rakdos Guildgate
3 Simic Guildgate
3 Izzet Guildgate
3 Azorius Guildgate
3 Orzhov Guildgate
2 Dimir Guildgate
1 Maze's End
...
But then they'd have to go out of their way to make it playable like they did with snow mana.
