Any one who knows me knows that I Love clone cards. Any way I can copy your artifacts, creatures, enchantments, instants, lands, sorceries is almost always going to be good in my book. And seeing this reference one of my favorite creatures of all time and have a super sweet ability added to it. Yes please! Plus its art is just great. I give it a 5 out of 5.

Oddly enough, I see this card having better use outside of a ninja deck than within one. Many of the ninjas have a fairly low cost ninjutsu ability (aside from the legendary ninjas, but copying them is just pointless), meaning Sakashima's Student is not a cheap replacement for good ninjas for the most part.
Outside of a ninja deck, no one expects it when a Spark Elemental suddenly turns into a ninja that clones your Khalni Hydra. The great thing is that this card is just like Clone in that it can copy hexproof or shroud creatures.

I wanted Sakashima in the ninja precon. I also want Sakashima to be a ninja. Why isn't Sakashima a ninja?
Also, great card, great flavor. It's really hard to think this wasn't printed before. Ok, so you copy your ninjas when it enters play (I certainly don't mind an extra Okiba Gang or ThroatSlitter) and then bounce them with Walker of Secret ways when there's something else you need to copy.

If you really wanted to you could use this to create a Wombat Ninja or a Badger Ninja, but there's really no need for that.
This card has so much potential for fun, but then again, it IS a Ninja, and "Sakashima" is in its name, so that was to be expected.

Hmm... Bizarre question: what if he becomes a creature with defender when he is ninjitused into play attacking? Things with defender can't attack, but since he's already attacking does that count? If so: Wall of Razors has a pretty high power for it's cost. A silly combo, but it might lead to interesting ideas later.

I wish he had Sakashima the Impostor's ability to keep his own name so he could impersonate legendaries.
Still, fantastic and fun card. They brought my favorite blue ability to my favorite line of creatures!
Between this and Phyrexian Metamorph, they're just dancing in Clone's face. Neither of them are technically strictly better, but they're about as freakishly close as you can get.

Attention all TV Tropers! After searching for a long time, I have finally found a way to create a Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot card.
Play Reef Pirates, a card that already has half the types we're looking for - Zombie Pirate. Have Sakashima's Student copy it for a Ninja Pirate Zombie. Apply Liquimetal Coating, and congratulations, your card is a walking trope.
