I love it. It combos well with any creature that has a "Die" effect, it triggers "Morbid" so Tragic Slip becomes lethal for almost every creature and if you get to draw cards and gain life? Not to mention get a chump blocker.
My favorite card to sack at the moment is Veilborn Ghoul and Wurmcoil Engine. The Ghoul I like slightly more since it keeps coming back.

I really like this card with Bloodthrone Vampire. Sac your whole board then drop this lady. Pwn some noobs...there has to be some sort of black deck that likes to sacrifice creatures...

Going into my Sedris, the Traitor King EDH deck for sure!

And let's not forget all of the red creature stealing; steal their Wurmcoil Engine, face smash with it, then sac to this lady. You have an 18 point life swing, you have six more cards in hand, a 3/3 Deathtouch, a 3/3 Lifelink, and a 2/1 Wizard. For the cost of 7 or 8 mana and two cards.

Sacrifice a Moldgraf Monstrosity to him: gain 8 life and draw 8 cards for 3B, and potentially drop an even bigger threat onto the board if you're doing it right to begin with.

I played at the magic celebration and got this guy and a Thragtusk. I gladly took gaining 10 life, drawing 5 cards, and getting a 3/3 beast. It was beautiful.

Nicol Bolas: Sacrifice me! Disciple: Yes, my master.
She is exceptionally good as a backup in exalted decks. Hit them then eat your exalted guy after combat for lots of cards and life to refill the field and prepare you for the (usually inevitable) day of judgment.

Would have been tons better if it could target itself ie. commit suicide.
There's nothing like sacrificing a 5/5 Akrasan squire for 5 life and 5 cards.
I'm surprised no-one noticed the synergy. This girl can be quite broken with temporary power boosting. Especially of the free kind.

Would this be good in a golgari deck?

Great for lots of things.
Fantastic for getting rid of your Archdemon of Greed. I don't transform Ravenous Demon unless it's a sure win or I've got a sure answer for him, and there's few better answers than this guy.

Holy balls. I never saw this guy! Use next to Negator, Skaab Ruinator, Avatar of Discord, Drinker of Sorrow or similar. Turns them and this guy into not only efficient damage but efficient cards.
If you have field advantage but feel your game slipping a bit; attack, drop this guy second main phase and turn it into card advantage. if you have a Black Sun's Zenith or other sweepers in the deck you can rest comfortably, wipe the board, and plop a fatty 2 turns from now; as you gained a turn worth of weenie health and a 5+ cards.
Also a good way to get rid of Abyssal persecutor, or kill him to psuedo-tutor for what you need to finish the game (if for some reason he won't do it.)
Run next to Geralf's Messenger for free cards + life loss or any other cost efficient fatty. You could even flicker him as a means to eat a Dreadnought you can't stifle.

Michael Jackson back from the dead! I can imagine him moonwalking onto the field, singing "Thriller", then taking a creature off to Neverland ranch to *Hee-hee!*
