Random reprint is random.

The deck has a milling sub-theme, bro. This guy steals stuff from the graveyard, capiche? That being said, most of the mythics that were reprinted aren't amazing.

This is one of the few great Reprints in the Commander Precons. Fits well into the theme too!

Oh wow, none of the commander precons can block him.

Very not random, Wrexial is a monster. Stealing your opponent's high power instants/sorceries is one perk in his favor, being virtually unblockable is another, and being beefy enough to stand up to common levels of punishment is another, all for 6 mana.

Amazing card, especially if you're running Spreading Seas.

great for an Eldrazi deck, because that's obviously C'thulhu the Terrible. o.O

Ken, the lead designer of Worldwake, discusses this card on youtube, and it is quite interesting.
Copy the link below and change "(dot)" to "." in each case:

Go to 17:13 in the video, and he talks about it for just over 3 minutes.

Highlights: why this is in WW, the EDH nature of the card, and the problem it solves

Sword of Body and Mind. Have the sword trigger happen before C'thulhu's trigger. Also, if you don't have anything really important to do first main phase, hold on to your mana. There's nothing better than getting a free Diabolic Tutor from your opponent's graveyard to get and play any card in your deck that you have the mana for.

This guy is beautiful as one of many things in the toolbox of my The Mimeoplasm EDH deck; sometimes there's an awesome spell in your opponent's graveyard, and when that happens it's satisfying to the point of being story-worthy (such as when he accomplished exactly what Mr. Nagle intended) .

However, he didn't shine the way I hoped when I gave him his own commandership. Mainly because I keep running into decks that don't use instants and sorceries! EDH is all about getting the most use out of each card, and creatures with abilities are often much more repeatable and versatile. Qasali Pridemage and Acidic Slime see play in nearly every deck that can run them, but I don't see a lot of EDH decks mainboarding Naturalize.

Awesome card, can win you the game with correct timing, but don't rely too heavily on him.

This card has some excellent synergy with Nemesis of Reason, and they both have synergy with Quest for Ula's Temple.

Brb gonna go make a deck.

Kraken Smackin'

When attackin' a kraken
remember that hackin'
is not the most useful of skills.

When attakin' a kraken,
remember that whackin'
really won't give you a kill.

When attackin' a kraken,
just run in and smack him
as hard as you possibly can.

Though you'll probably die,
you'll still be the guy,
who tried to go kill a kraken.

One of my first ever EDH games occured after I got back into Magic during Innistrad after leaving during Tempest. This dude was my commander, and first time I attacked with him I got the question:

"What's islandwalk?"

O.o
