Haha, I get it. Anti-Valakut. I'm under the impression that this card won't even make it on to the battlefield against the Valakut, but if it does, one mountain will fix everything... for the Valakut player...

you could exile valakut itself... maybe...

Sure, anti-Valakut, except, you know, Lightning Bolt. Or drop one mountain, fry this, and then combo out. Yeah, this won't be doing anything in constructed (to that effect, at least).
In limited, though, this card benefits immensely from the slow format; you can always cut your opponent off from mana, but if you land this on-curve, it will not only slow down your opponent, but will also create a veritable threat that they will need to waste a removal spell on if they want to get above 4 or 5 mana w/o taking like 6 damage. If I already had at least one great red card, I'd take this as early as 5th pick.
Not bad. In Commander/EDH, I always prefer permanents with enter-the-battlefield effects over one-shot cards. That will be some solid addition. 3.5/5

I misunderstood this card at first, I thought you had to exile a land you owned. I like it much better now.

Slap a Splinter Twin on it or simply use Mimic Vat .

It's good for LD but then LD isn't good against everything. If you want to grief people like crazy this is the right card though.

Having opened almost a playset of them already, I'll be looking for a deck to fit 'em into... I have another deck that runs a couple of Zo-Zu the Punishers, and I always enjoy playing him, so I sort of look at this guy in the same way. He's more limited in terms of who he'll ping, but he does have the upside of removing a land for good... and once he has done that, I'll never feel too terrible in a multiplayer setting if someone burns a removal spell on him.
He happens to look a lot like a mosquito! I almost wish he had flying, to complete the imagery. I'm suddenly struck with the urge to play him and equip him with a Grafted Exoskeleton... maybe make it a deck with some Swamp Mosquitoes as well, and call it WestNile.dec!

Its a LD spell on legs with a mono deck housing ability! How awesome is that?
Oh wait, 3 toughness? OH COME ON! WoTC, DO SOMETHING RIGHT!

This thing exiles opponent's lands? Ooh, I think I just found another Rite Of Replication target!
Besides that, this is the best Insect creature card with Imprint in the entire game.

It did have potential, but M12 came and overshadowed it with Mana Barbs.

I'm strongly considering this in a deck with Heartless Summoning. It may seem like a weird or even bad match, but RR1 for a vastly improved Stone Rain is really hard to argue with.

Note that it doesn't destroy lands, it exiles them. Take that, Darksteel Citadel! Also works well with anything that blinks, as other have mentioned Mimic Vat, Splinter Twin and Glimmerpoint Stag would help maximize combo potential. If you're willing to go into other colours, {W} and {U} have plenty of blinking effects, they also have access to Venser, The Sojourner which can use his +2 ability to blink him once per turn and has an ultimate ability very closely related to Invader Parasite.
