Oooh, I like that it doesn't need to actually damage to generate the poison counter. That offsets it's poor stats nicely.

It's good in the sense that it puts your opponents on a ten-turn clock. It's bad in the sense that it gets killed easily, but hey, hopefully you've got other ways to win, and your opponent just used up a kill spell.

Plague Stinger makes this card look like trash, but also works well with it. On the other hand, a major strategy of infect is pump spells, which this card does not work well with. I wonder if this card inspired plague stinger at all...

At one point I had a little bit of fun using this to fly over an Ensnaring Bridge in a discard deck. Frozen Shade ended up working a bit better.

For all intents and purposes, a 2/1 flyer for 2 mana that gets -2/-0 when blocking or blocked. However, there is the fact that that life cannot be regained, so there's some sort of middle ground there.
