This seems very good, especially as an instant. Take that Storm Crow by surprise. In fact they should just reword it to. "1White: Destroy target attacking Storm Crow."

Raise the Alarm with one extra mana for flying.

More like Master's Call but instead of being artifacts, they get flying.

Its going to be the next spectral procession. One less spirit but it is easier to splash and is an instant to boot.

Someone on a forum said that this was the new caw-blade... He was laughed off the forum. It's a good card, but not that good.

Proved very useful at the pre-release, the spirit tokens often provided the damage necessary to end the game a turn sooner.

Not bad in limited. But in constructed it's simply too weak. You can do much better stuff for three mana, than create two 1/1 guys.

@majinara: constructed decklists disagrees.

This is no Spectral Procession. It is, however, easier to splash and is an instant, and Intangible Virtue and Honor of the Pure can really make those tokens worth their cost.

Wooo army of spirit tokens for me.

It's great limited design to have this, Village Bell-ringer, and Rebuke all at the same mana cost. Leaving mana open for a turn with cards in hand telegraphs something, but what? It takes a good read of the board state to figure out which one. Did they attack recklessly, leaving themselves open for lethal damage? Did you just play a bomby flyer that he needs to take out? Sure makes attacking with your Reaper from the Abyss more scary. Beating down with your Lantern Spirit or Vampire Interloper, or eyeing the lone Thraben Sentry holding the fort? I'm not the biggest fan of Innistrad drafts, because it rewards the greediest plays ever. But I admire the design!

In a white deck with Intangible Virtue and Honor of the Pure this will rarely ever be three for two 1/1s. Oftentimes this can easily hand you two 3/3s or better. The Mentor stuff is rocking too.

I'm not going to say I like this more than Spectral Procession but it is an instant. That's a big deal. If you're playing this (or spectral procession for that matter) you will have intangible virtue quad stacked in your deck. Instant flying tokens? Yes please.

maybe i'm in the minority, but I have liked this more than lingering souls for quite a while due to instant vs sorcery, and due to being able to fully enjoy rest in peace

that having been said, I'm looking forward to illness in the ranks, because... f*** chump tokens, that's why.

I can't believe no one's said it yet, but Mentor of the Meek. Two 1/1 fliers and double draw for 4White? Yes.

Also, @JMF2796... STORM CROW IS NEVER TAKEN BY SURPRISE. You've got it the wrong way round. You aren't surprising Storm Crow and killing him, he is surprising you and reducing this card's effect by 50% at the cost of his life! He's dedicated like that.
