Obviously best in infect, kill a blocker and hit for one more. Otherwise, as you're probably playing another color with much better creature kill, its notsogood. I'd advise against picking this earlier than 9th pick, since it's going to table a lot and you're better off relying on getting it late.

Pretty sweet combat trick.
Off color is the best kind.

This is better in practice than on paper. A lot better. Keep an eye on it.

This is definitely Standard playable in mono-green infect.

Turn one: Forest. Glistener Elf
Pass turn.
Opponent plays Land. Opponent plays measly blocker in hopes of stopping your attack.
Passes turn.
Turn two: Leeching Bite. Bye bye blocker. Hello 2 infect.

Also nice if they play a blocker and memnite. Then it's like you're two-for-one.

This card is going straight into my UG Infect Rush sideboard for FNM. In the current standard environment this is actually a pretty viable green kill spell, considering that cards like Gut Shot and Tragic Slip do a heck of a lot!
Consider taking down a Delver, Champion Of The Parish, Snapcaster Mage, Viridian Emissary and any mana dorks, as early as turn two for example with a GREEN SPELL that will also pump say your Glistener Elf or Blighted Agent to bash straight in is pretty huge.

It's a half-Disfigure and a tiny Giant Growth, all tied up together. Nothing fancy, but it's decent.
