Shrink cards need to stop being printed. I would actually read this card's text in the opposite order: "Draw a card. Do some weak combat trick." Wizards obviously thinks shrinking is a powerful effect, which must be why Disorient costs so much.

The minotaurs just can't catch a break.
I agree. Shrinking seems alot like life gain. It's not as good as it would seem to be.

Sorry, what's that? I'm DISTRACTED by the better picks in my Limited pool. Get it? Distracted? OH I CRACK MYSELF UP SOMETIMES.

This card is a fleeting distraction. What's next?

It's a cantrip for 1 mana, it's not supposed to be powerful. Is it still too weak for its (tiny) cost? Yes, but it can still make the difference between a trade and card advantage. Bad, but certainly not the 4th worst card in the set.

They should have given it Rebound and made it cost 1U or 2U.

This isn't card advantage. You gain a card for giving something -1/0, but you just used a card to get that, AND you had to take up a slot to do so. This is one of, if not the worst card in the set/block.

I agree with people posting here. It's high time Wizards stopped the whole shrinking cards nonsense. This hardly even qualifies as a "card" to me. Pathetic.
Yep shrinking is worse than damage prevention. Should have been "tap target creature. draw a card."

it's not bad. i give it a 3 out of 5.

There ARE good shrinking cards, but this is not one of them. The original Shrink is an example of a good shrinking card. Even as a cantrip, this should have been -2/-0 or -3/-0. If this had Rebound instead of being a cantrip, this still should be -2/-0 or -3/-0 and only cost U.

Like a Bandage, Peek or an inverse Viridescent Wisps. I wonder why I didn't found any card with "+0/+1 until end of turn: draw 1". Rather skip the draw effect for a better damage prevention.

While I agree that this card is too weak I don't agree that the idead is bad. -x/-0 effects simply need to be stronger for the mana.
-3/-0 Cantrip would have been preferable. Disorient could easily have been {2}{U}
also Black Gets -X/-X Blue gets -X/-0 White gets +0/+X Green gets +X/+X Red gets +X/+0 So where does -0/-X go?
I want a foil of this just so i can play it and say 'oooooohhhhh! Shiny!"

@Vedalken_Arbiter: Black also gets -X/-0 and +X/+0, and white gets +x/+X and +X/+X when it's small enough, so it' a bit deeper than that. As for -0/-X, it's very similar to -X/-X so they don't do it that often. It would be black, judging by Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief. But in the past red and blue have had it, too, and even green and white used it on themselves.

You won't mock this quite as much if your opponent throws it on an Isochron Scepter! ;-)

I like this card only when I'm going against a blue deck with illusions. It's funny to see the reaction when they get out a Phantasmal Dragon and I toss this out, turning it into "kill creature, draw a card" for in this instance. Still not a very good card except in very specific situations, but if I don't have much else I'd spend to draw a card and maybe save a creature from being traded.

@mattblack04 You wouldn't actually get to draw a card in that scenario, you wouldn't have a target after the illusion is sacrificed and therefore an illegal target.

You can spend on Think Twice, or you can spend on Think Once + a combat trick... 4.5/5

In D&D, a cantrip is a level 0 spell. For example, "Flare: Dazzles one creature (–1 on attack rolls)."
