Wizards, Metalcraft has plenty of logical applications. See Galvanic Blast and Auriok Edgewright. Tying an Unsummon to a flying sea monster because there happens to be a lot of metal around is not one of them.

Don't like the card? I'll take the seat to your left and you can just keep passing them to me. No problem.

Building on a budget? This one is from Magic's own, Noel deCordova.

Makes a lot of sense, when in a heavy artifact non-creature deck. It can be very useful to either keep you alive through bouncing & blocking, or bounce you're own cheap artifacts to build up more counters.

Darkslick Drake vs Lumengrid Drake in booster drafts: which is better? Drafting blue, I get caught between the two.

Building on a budget is one thing, but using golden urn?

Would be a respectable card without the metalcraft requirement; with it its just another card that will never see play outside limited.
