My favorite card of the set, just for the black hate. Zendikar is wildly unbalanced, and I'm sick of losing to vampires.
With a bit of strategic bouncing from Narrow Escape and her Kor buddies, she can lock down a mono-black opponent by herself. And she's the perfect answer to Vampire Nighthawk, who is the bane of my existence.
You go, girl! Burn those bloodsuckers DOWN!

Streamhopper: Royal A-ssa-ssin (curse you yet again, profanity filter), unlike M.C Hammer, can't touch this. The black card targets, and protection means you can't target it. Damnation would still kill it, since it doesn't use "target".
So, Zendicar had very little other colour hate- unlike, lets say, Shadowmoor. And when you see colour hate outside a core set, there's something that should be examined. Of course, we all know this is Vampires. I'm not sure why they were the only real tribal (allies don't count) in the set, but it's obvious this card was made for nerfin' (and that's just what it'll do). I mean, the Kor have a Lord present, but they don't seem to have quite the support that the bloodsuckers do. I'm glad they printed answers, but I think the best answer would be to tone them down in Worldwake in favour of some other strategies. Not to exclude them entirely, obviously, but still. Vampire Nighthawk.

It's like Tivadar of Thorn, but against black and with a more powerful kill ability and no first strike. also harder to splash. This girl is very good, but i do not think the better ETB ability justifies not having first strike, so Tividar wins in my book, though your opinion may vary. He can be in the main deck against other colors, what with being a 2/2 with first strike for 3. She merely becomes sideboard fodder. Opinions may differ, but i rest my case.

Sideboard only for Mono-white decks running against black, but its an AMAZING sideboard. Exile Sorin or Liliana, remove that big, bad demon, and then be hated for the short remainder of the game.

Stupid lack of a 'may' in the exile ability! I couldn't find a good deck to put this in, and eventually I thought I could put this in a Pestilence deck, but noooo.
I want this card to come back in a future Core Set sometime. And what I want out is Celestial Purge. {1}{W} to axe Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker?! At Instant Speed?! IN THE SAME SET?! Damn you, Wizards. That card ruins the day of anyone trying to play good big splashy cool stuff, like Demons, or Elder Dragon Archenemies.
{W}{W}{W} for a creature summon I like much better. She's Super White Knight. Of course everything needs something that can kill it, so there should be a reasonable sideboard card against 'herp, Nicol Bolas, herp'. But all I ask is that the hate boarding be controlled in such a way that cards you are hating against are still worth trying to play.
Devout Lightcaster is a color-hater I can get behind. Celestial Purge is like what Akroma's sick joke version of Doom Blade would be. NO LIKEY! >:(
