Is this a wee bit of control for black? Shut your opponent down when they get too excited on their turn, unless they're playing black too, I guess. Still, very interesting card.

It's interesting, I guess. There are some combos for it, probably. But mostly the only way I could think of this making it into a deck would be to hose a nonblack player's turn.

Great with Swampwalk. Or Pro: Black. Or White (or Red) Fear.
isochron scepter >:)
Now that's what I call eternal darkness.

Lots of people say certain cards referencing colors are racist. Now, personally, I disagree with that for the most part. But this one is just so blatant about it. I mean really. Not all black people turn the landscape into swampland.

4/5 stick this on an isochron scepter or a panoptic mirror and your opponent can't cast nonblack/colorless spells this turn

This card goes great with swampwalk. I remember once i had a few creatures with swampwalk out, played this card, and my opponent got his butt kicked into next week.

Hope you didn't want to cast anything this turn!
Much less useful against another black deck, but that's what sideboards are for.

or a limited Time walk against non-black decks.
