...but are two goblins better than the 2/2 birdy? And that's a pretty expensive unearth cost!

this one is great in a rakdos deck but it has hight unearth cost, still it`s a good way to terrorise the opponent

it's a black/red-colored 2/2 flyer for three mana, but the downside is that you have to sacrifice him for the Dragon Fooder effect. Would be a great card if you had the choice, but like this it's not a great deal. the unearth cost isn't too cheap either... Yet since he doesn't have the little "if you do" clause, you can apparently sacrifice him for something different as well and still get two goblins.

He can swing on turn 4, then be unearthed on turn 5. that's 4 goblin tokens, it's not that bad.

@Mode No, you're wrong about the "if you do..." thing. It clearly states that he provides dragon fodder and is sacrificed when he does combat damage to an opponent. This does NOT mean that you can use a different sacrifice choice on him and still get the dragon fodder.

@iondragonx Yes you can sac this to something else and get the tokens but it only works like this:
You attack with this and its not blocked. Then this deals combat damage to player. Then the triggered ability goes to stack. Players can now cast instants and activate abilities. This is where you can sacrifice Bomber to something like Lyzolda, the Blood Witch to deal 2 more damage and draw a card. Then Bomber's ability resolves, you get two goblins and try to sacrifice Bomber but since it's long gone you can't. There is no penalty for it in this case.
And now to the card itself. I'm not really sure if I would play it myself since it has to be sacrificed and the unearth cost is so high. 3/5
Significantly better now that Sarkhan Vol has leveled up to Sarkhan the Mad. Pretty handy to tank through a Day of Judgement, though 2/2 isn't exactly a ton of board presence; looks fairly good with Siege-Gang Commander.

Like him. Expendable card which offers number of options early on at good cost. Unearth is steep, but as a common this should be seen as a nice perk to his already decent offerings. A Primo spot for Flying presence in Goblin Decks.

A decently-costed flier in the non-flying colors. The fact that you are required to sac him can be seen as a downside, or not, but it's a good card either way. The unearth is expensive, but it's good to surprise your opponent several turns into the game. Not many players actually care to keep track of what's in your graveyard at any given moment.

WOW!!!...I have been putting together a Red/Black deck with...Skirsdag High Priest !!! This card really couldn't have better synergy with Skirsdag High Priest. Deal two damage sac the creature, which activates morbid, then tap the two goblins and put your 5/5 demon token out there. Then you can unearth it and do it again!!

Can provide a whole 6 bodies for Greater Gargadon. Not bad, although the fact that you need to be doing something tricky with it to make it worthwhile leaves it a casual card.
Still, I admire the flavour and mechanical thought that's gone into this as a common. Reminds me of Ravnica.
Very underrated card. It is a staple in my BR control-aggro deck. Not the most powerful card, no, but combos well with everything, good replacement for Dragon Fodder. Don't think of this as a creature card. This card gets creatures on the field to defend from attackers with chump blocks AND the fact that it deals 2 damage to the other payer is a little added bonus. Out of chump blockers near the end of the game? Fine, unearth, swing for 2 and you have two chump blockers ready to go.

Turn 1: Mountain, Ligntning Bolt 17 life Turn 2: Swamp, Lightning Bolt 14 life Turn 3: Swamp, Kathari Bomber Turn 4: Mountain, Kathari Bomber attacks, Undying Evil, 12 life Turn 5: Swamp, Summon a second Kathari bomber, Kathari bomber 1 Attacks, 9 life Turn 6:Swamp, Unearth Kathiri Bomber 1, Both Attack, 5 life, cast Unearth on Kathari Bomber 2. Turn 7: Alpha Strike, Game.
A proud part of my Lyzolda, the Blood Witch EDH deck. With sacking the Bomber, you end up with 4 combat damage, 4 ping damage, 2 cards, and 4 creatures (which you can sack for 8 more damage). So, 16 damage and 2 cards for a 3cc common?

Part of a cycle of two-shard creatures. List cuz I'm cool like that.
Sigiled Behemoth-Bant/Naya-Exalted on a creature with a power of five
Godtracker of Jund-Naya/Jund-"power 5+" ability, and dragons. I feel Gorger Wurm might have been better (Power of 5 and has devour) but Godtracker's flavor text fits the cycle.

This seems like a fairly decent target for Strionic Resonator. Turn 2 Resonator, turn 3 Bomber, assuming you get the goblins you get 4 for {2} more.

I find the flavor of this card amusing.
It's a bird-man who, upon suicide-crashing into your foe, explodes into two goblins.
