This is Fling, but only to players and in sorcery form... but you gain life. Good card.

New vampires in the most recent block make this card pretty useful, possibly even a game ender, in extended. This paired with Vampire Aristocrat, Bloodghast using its landfall, and any other creatures you can sacrifice, could do significant damage.
8/15/2010 Lethal damage, damage from a source with deathtouch, and effects that say "destroy" won't cause an indestructible creature to be put into the graveyard. However, an indestructible creature can be put into the graveyard for a number of reasons. The most likely reasons Phylactery Lich would be put into a graveyard are if it's sacrificed (perhaps due to its last ability), or if its toughness is 0 or less.
Yes, you can sac it. No, it doesn't stay around. It is sacrificed, not destroyed or dealt lethal damage.
As with any card that gains you life, it's deadly with sanguine bond and a win condition with tainted sigil and sanguine bond.

If only casting this on a Death's Shadow were more impressive.
A black Fling with lifegain. Sure it may not be at instant speed, but frequently you can do just as well on your own turn. 5/5

@SpencerDub: Actually, sacrificing a Death's Shadow to this is impressive. You can potentially deal a large amount of damage, and you reset your life to 13. That's fun with Phyrexian Unlife if you're at or below 0. Not only will they have to hit you at least two more times to kill you (i.e. once to reduce you to 0 or less, and then another to finish poisoning you), but you probably just killed them with massive damage. Come to think of it, that second part seems a lot more relevant.
1st turn: Forest, Birds of Paradise. 2nd turn: Any untapped land, Devoted Druid 3rd turn: Any untapped land, Quillspike activated to any size you want using the druid to fuel the mana and counters. Then this to finish.
Fragile? as all hell. Amazing if it goes off? I'd think so. But that's just me....

Attack for 6, this for 6.
12 on T5 or earlier may be the game ender. Or just wait another turn to make it 18..
Plus, this saves you in a pinch!
Doomgape btw..
Bling.
