I bought 5 packs of alliances and i got 2 other these....Right into my esper deck. Such a good 0drop card. Im gonna do a friendly Alliances draft with a few ppl and i hope i get more.

So if the first attacker this thing blocked was a 5/5, would this wall be dead or not?
Fictionarious: It would die because it gets the counter when it is assigned as a blocker, so it would be a 0/5 when damage is dealt. Even if it got the counter after combat, it would still be a 0/5 with 5 damage on it so it would die.

This card is simply AMAZING in an affinity deck. It buys you just enough time to get your ball rolling and provides free affinity.

Now that Survival has dominated Legacy, this card has become a key mirror-breaker. You empty your mana sources in loading your graveyard with creatures, and then you end the combo by searching for this with your last land. You're safe for a turn, or you can creaturecycle that rootwalla for this - getting your second spell.
I also like grabbing many of these with Tezzeret, the Seeker ability for 0. Nothing like 24 points of toughness to get through. Forget about the other 0's you can grab too - Ornithopter, Phyrexian Walker, and Memnite.
This card is incredible with Goblin Welder. Block for a turn or two, then weld it away to recover artifacts from your graveyard, and when necessary, weld it back in as a fresh 0/6 blocker.

@Dragonwizard99 Elvish Piper does not agree with you. It uses the same mana, the same number of turns (possibly fewer conisdering greens inherent mana ramping tendancies), and requires fewer cards to achieve the desired result.
I have nothing beneficial to say here. However, I did buy four of this card because it's useful in many different decks.

Great with Glint Hawk You play this and block for a while then use glint hawk to bounce to hand and replay it with full counters

A very viable 0-drop. Though early-game its 6 health is a bit redundant and things like Phyrexian Walker might be more useful, but a freebie is a freebie. It's not useless even late-game, a 0-drop that can tank a giant beast for a couple of turns is nothing to laugh at.
@systemSCsnake: that won't work, melira, sylvok outcast only stops -1/-1 counters, these are -0/-1 counters :(

Make your whole deck out of 1/5, 2/4, 3/3, 4/2, and/or 5/1 creatures.
Shield Sphere lets you get all your creatures out of your deck for free as long as you have Wild Pair and Cloudstone Curio
