A tri-land, that counts as a forest so you can search for it! It's only downside is it comes into play tapped most of the time.

I have one of these in my treefolk deck even though Doran is the only treefolk in my deck that's not Mono-green, for the most part it acts like a regular forest.

This land is incredible, although searching for forests is not as big as searching for basic lands (baring zendikar fetchlands), very versatile

You missed the part where it deals damage to you if you use it to generate its off colors.

It's also an enemy-color tri-land. To the best of my knowledge, the only enemy-color tri-land in Magic so far.

Essential in my treefolk deck, not only does it help my mana issues for Doran, the Siege tower but as it's a forest I can use Treefolk Harbinger to search for it, and it helps with Dauntless Dourbark. Normally I don't need to pay life to get the mana but these cards have definitely saved me on several occasions. 5/5!

One of the most flexible lands in existence. It has a basic land type, making it eligible to be fetched by fetchlands, it potentially produces one of three colors, and it doesn't even always come into play tapped. I have used it in the exact manner Forgeling described, and it works very, very well.

Then you're playing it in the wrong deck.

I'm pretty sure I designed this card minus the Treefolk letting it be untapped. Glad it was a good enough design for them to think of it as well. :D

I want more wedge painlands like this one. Such as an America/France/etc. Plains that comes into play tapped unless you reveal something cool like Lightning Angel, a {RUG} mountain, etc. That would be so cool. Intet, the Dreamer would be happy.

@DoomLich: There are probably non-Treefolk decks, you know...

I love the way this card is laid out with all those colours everywhere. It looks and feels like something from Future Sight almost.

I don't understand the frame coloration on this. It is as if to say "Mostly with a hint of ."

@JFM2796:
Like all lands that tap for more than two colors, it's a gold border. Like all gold cards that are three or more colors, in fact.

just got 3 of these, it's the coolest magic card I've ever had the pleasure of owning!

I would like to see this in FTV: Realms.
It's a bit of a long shot, but its quite a unique land among the 'merely' produces colored mana ones...
Oh yeah, and Treebeard called. He says he's Taking the Hobbits to Isengard. (I'm sorry. I just couldn't resist. xD)

That has got to be the strangest and most well thought out border to a card ever. JFM2796 put it pretty well. "Mostly with a hint of "

It's got the same versatility as most of those uncommon allied-colour lands from Shards, except this CAN come into play untapped. The 1 life per tap from B/W is just in case you need that mana for who-knows-what.
It is the perfect non-basic land for the Counterpunch EDH pre-built (Ghave, Karador, Teneb, etc.), and an even better addition to a deck commanded by Doran (no need for links).

Sweet land that isn't just for Treefolk. Granted the coverage this thing provides in that deck is amazing, but I run these in my BGW Modern EldraziTron with no Treefolk whatsoever. It's really no different than the shard lands like Crumbling Necropolis and the lot. You'll never take more than 1-2 damage per game from this card unless they start clumping together.
A searchable tri-land that can do fine with very little draw backs. Welcome to the Vault, buddy! You deserved it! 5/5

Definately A staple card for EDH especially if you have Doran or Ghave as your general.

Fetchable as a Forest ya know! Use it with Mwonvuli acid-moss for no disadvantage and quick color fixing. Works with Land Grant as well. May be of use with cards like Nameless Inversion

@SaintHazard Or maybe he's talking about the background where the name and types are...but that would make too much sense.
