could be slightly overrated due to current tribal format, but still a great versatile card anyways. good for early game creature kill or late game extra wallop on your own.

This was excellent, then Agony Warp came along...This is still a useful removal spell in black...

Kick Ass Card Like A Weak Black Incinerate Mixed With A Weak Giant Growth But Combine Those And You Have A Powerful Versatile Card

People seem to miss the most important anti-tribal feature of this card. It takes away all creature types. This means it can kill things that would otherwise be pumped by tribal effect such as Coat of Arms.

Quite excellent low-end removal, with a number of synergistic properties due to Changeling. It only costs Black if you have a Banneret on the battlefield.

I think I might put it in my zombie deck. With Undead Warchief it costs 1 mana, and I can bring it back to my hand with Lord of the Undead and play it again. If I play with Soulless One, it also counts as one more zombie in the graveyard. Great for tribal, great against tribal 4/5.

One thing I absolutely love about this card is how well it pairs with Haakon, Stromgald Scourge. Being able to play this over and over again single-handedly wins games with Haakon in play.

This is the ultimate sliver killer. You know how the Might Slivers get to be 7/7 when there's a couple friends around? not anymore.

Also works really well with Soulshift mechanic. Anything bigger than Soulshift 2 could repeatedly bring this card back to equalize the play field. Nameless Inversion also triggers spirit/arcane abilities also.

They made it a bit too complicated. I think I've used the +3/+0 part once, and the loses all creature type part once too. Not worth putting these extra lines of text.

Why hasn't Last Gasp been reprinted yet? I want something evergreen to remember Ravnica by.

I ran this in Faerie a while back. The only real tribal synergy was emergency Faerie Harbinger searches, but the best feature was that it turned Mistbind Clique into a 7/1 in addition to its removal duties.

Then I saw the Haakon combo someone mentioned and cried a little.

Just about a perfect card of the "removal or pump" type, and lots of synergy with random stuff. Great picture. Giving it a 5/5.

What the heck does a type-less creature look like, anyways? A blob of vanilla? But even that seems like it would be an ooze.......

Fills a lot of roles when used in a deck with Murmuring Bosk and Dungrove Elder. It helps the Bosk enter untapped, and then it's either spot removal or a mid-late game pump spell on an unblocked Elder.

Currently running this next to Funeral Charm. Having buffs hidden amongst removal is powerful business.

EDIT: fun with Thief of Hope. Remove their guy T2 with this, play thief of hope, if they kill him, remove their guy with this again!

That'll teach em :)

Almost makes you want to consider playing Soulshift cards. Well... not really. But you know what I mean.

I don't understand the point of this card? You guys keep saying this comboes with wort, boggart auntie but I don't see how... it says loses all creature types not makes all abilites able to search for any creature type :/

@Goatllama: Nameless Race?

@meero: Because this card itself has every creature type, thus making it a Goblin (and also an Elf, a Merfolk, and a Phelddagrif, among others!)
