Iliona! Veesa! Endry! The Vendilion Clique is absolutely amazing. A fast, highly efficient card with an aggressive power to boot. What makes the siblings so fantastic is that they can pry the minds of your opponents and make them get rid of their most prized card - this literally swings games for you. Of course you should always remember you can use their ability on yourself to cycle away cards that you don't need, for example a Bitterblossom when you're low on life. The Flash ability is just extra power. When you need a job done, call the siblings!

One of the best faeries and blue creatures (maybe the best) ever made! It is now a tournament favorite because of its flashiness and disruption. A high-tempo gaining card.Nice.

Play in U/B with Maralen of the Mornsong. Imprint unsummon onto Ischron's Scepter. Play this. Proceed to rape the opponents hand while you play your annoying faerie army. But first, make them discard their hand.
I find this card strategically difficult. The usual choice is to bounce one of your oponnent's bombs but what if you choose to cycle one of their cards and they have total jank? you give them the advantage of gaining a new card but unless it is paired with other cards that view the opponent's hand there is no way of knowing if it is strategically better to bounce your card or their card.
This card is pretty ridiculous of course but it is by no means a tarmogoyf-esque cast then beat face card, it requires finesse and timing but can severely swing the game iny our favor.

Ever feel like fairies might have just a few too many REALLY REALLY GOOD toys to play with? Fairies are almost as powerful + annoying to me as the old affinity decks I used to play against. Non-tourney, but still!

I tried this out in a deck because of the ETB ability, but found that it wasn't nearly as useful as I'd thought. I kept it in, though, because a 3 power flyer for 3 is great even without any other abilities.
And it never even occurred to me to use the ability on myself, either: I'll have to try that now.

This is one of the best flash threats in the game and also has a pretty skill-intensive ability, which I approve of. I would like to see more highly playable cards with skill intensive abilities like this.
Conveniently, this beauty of a card costs 3 mana exactly, meaning that it synergizes with cards like Sun Titan and Aluren quite nicely.

So glad I just got a set of these for ~$60 :) Probably the single best card I've ever used in both Modern and Legacy. If you ever say that this card is only "OK" then you are horribly lying to yourself and have obviously never seen/known how to play this. There's a reason why this is one of the single most played cards in any format it's legal in.

Meet True-Name Nemesis, the new utility beater. This definitely shouldn't be counted out though. In fact I'd say this is usually much better against any defk that's not an Aggro deck, for the most part.

Comes great as a general in EDH (especially 1vs1), if you pack some bounce spells in your deck, like Cyclonic Rift, Consign to Dream, or Boomerang, etc... to be able to send some generals to the bottom. Best would be to also run Mindlock Orb, so your opponents can't tutor their commander back.

IMO.. This is The Blue three drop to have.. And quite possibly and very debatably The three drop of all three drops! I've been playing on and off (mostly off) since Revised and just never really got IN to Blue decks, counter magic and hardcore control just wasn't my thing. But I bought some vintage boosters from half a dozen sets around the Scars of Mirrodin release time and pulled a duo of this guy, I'd been out of magic for.. 7-8 yrs at this point and when I opened the pack and saw it, I thought- Ok, that's decent. Then I checked the value here on the Orcish app and I was shocked! Could it be THAT good?! Read some comments and decided to build a blue black deck focused around control which includes some discard as well but also made discard a SOLID plan B, as you already know, this card is just.. Devastating to the opposition..
PS- IF you somehow get your hands on 1-4 of these.. DON'T make the same mistake I did. IF you think your friends will be happy for you and cheer, you're wrong. Having this card in your collection is like having the one and only leg in an @$$ kickin' contest.. Yeah, you'll kick some SERIOUS booty, but IF you think you're gonna shake some hands and just walk away from the match when it's over? ha. AHaha! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHaaaaaa xD ahh.. GUESS AGAIN. This card puts the darkest kind of hate in your friends hearts and a BULLSEYE on your back. Buddy. In lesser words- There's no excuse for losing with the Clique, but even if you win, STILL you lose. So.. You just remember that.. PAL.
