5 damage for two mana. These guys are great.

What I like the most in those brutal guys is the question they ask your opponent: "Do you want to waste a removal spell on Us "Soon-to-Vanish" Maradeurs or GET YA FACE SMASHED FOR GOOD and then a little more?"
Another thing I like casually is giving this Lava axe on legs some haste for extra punch with, say, Clout of the Dominus or Reckless Charge.

They are maybe inconspicuous, yet dangerous.

Playing Reckless Charge on these guys the turn you play them, and then playing flashback on them the next turn, deals 14 damage total, assuming he goes unblocked. This combo is great for red deck wins because both cards are fine on their own.

Spells that try to make an opponent make a choice are the best (and I don't mean ones that give them options such as Rhystic Cave). I mean cards like this one, where most of the time they chose the choice you want.

5 damage for 2 mana is good.

I run four in every casual burn deck I have.

a 3/3 2 drop that guarantees at least 2 damage. Sign me up.

If your opponent attacks, and you get to block, it can be up to 8 damage. For two mana. Oooh yeah.

Fun combo! This card + Dissipation Field lets you win, as long as you have more life than your opponent when you set it off (and they can't interrupt it). Dissipation Field reads "Whenever a permanent deals damage to you, return it to its owner's hand".

Drop the Dissipation Field first. Then when you play Marauders, target yourself with the ETB trigger. That will trigger the Dissipation Field to bounce it. Use the LTB trigger to hit your opponent. Sure, 1R for 1 damage and having to pass priority isn't an amazing infinite combo, but it's fun to use.

A brutal card. At least two damage, if not an extra three to the face.
Plus, they can block most anything your opponent can swing with on turns two and three.

Combos with Worldfire.

I don't understand why this is rated so low. This is a staple of Legacy burn decks. It's obviously not the result of hate-rating as this card isn't overpowered.
