I'd have prefered her as warrior, but now at least she got a creature type that she also supports.
I still don't know why this affects all creatures, i thought global tribal buffs were something we wouldn't see again on newer cards.

Hah the last 'Lord' to ever be printed.

Probably gives the global buff as a throwback to the way things used to be--as they did a couple times in Coldsnap. Think of the "draw at next upkeep" that they brought back.

If I read the revised subtype line on this card correctly, Lovisa is a "Human Barbarian." Based on the card text, she gets the +2/+2 as well. So, for 3{R}{R}, Lovisa is a 5/5 creature. That is a decent card.

ClowWizardEriol: The oracle text says "other Barbarian creatures", so she won't get the buff. Unfortunately the type change is more of a nurf if anything.

She looks like... Samus Aran born a few thousand years earlier. Cool!

I like that for once they made an awesome lady warrior who isn't dressed in a chainmail bikini or a goth party dress.

Judging by the flavor text, Lovisa Coldeyes' archenemy is Steamflogger Boss.

@ luca_barelli

It made the card stronger you know, by itself, its likely to not be different, but since you are playing it in a Barbarian deck, she will get more buffs now.

Like Balthor the Stout or when you get more copies of her out, Mirror Gallery, or with subtype matters cards like Coat of Arms.

Unless you wanted to run her in a "Lord" deck, and are mad because all their tribal support is gone

I like her with Boldwyr Intimidator. She turns the guy into a 7/7 haster, and he can turn herself and any other creature you have into a warrior, to get the Lovisa buff.

@occamsrazorwit: See the rulings. +2/+2 for every creature that has at least one of those creature types. A Changeling gets +2/+2.

Best friends with the now 10/10 hasted Wolfir Silverheart. Lovisa is a pretty solid card, And I'd love to see it or a functional reprint in a newer expansion pack.

Well, she's no longer a Barbarian. So much for trying to have two of these out as 5/5s using Mirror Gallery.

They (wizards) need to bring back the lord type. It's just as flavorful as Advisor, Rogue, and Warrior, as it helps distinguish real leaders from the common rabble.
Lovisa as a plain human? Wha...?
Other than that, I hope they reprint her in Modern 2...hey, a guy can dream, can't he?

She seems like a fun Commander to helm a Warrior tribal deck. Give ALL the creatures Haste!
