I can't believe this isn't commented on more. It's an insane card. 5/5 for my current deck idea. :D

um.... how is this not a rare? how is this not rated higher? how are there so few comments?
this guy is absolutely amazing, especially with all the creatures that seem useless because of their high echo cost. It's the echo lord. makes all creatures with echo incredibly broken. and can protect itself from burn.

THIS DESERVES RARE 5/5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, he is my favorite little decoy. It screams, kill me now. Then they find that I don't care about echo and they feal foolish for not saving kill spells for avalanche riders and Numot, the devastator. And if they don't kill it than I have something that survives my molten disaster. Love this goblin, other red mages I play against hate him, can't kill him and unblockable.

He kinda looks like Yoda. (Yoda in his younger, more wild years, of course. He does have ear-piercings after all.)

This+Thran Weaponry=Hilarious

Not to mention that that combo is better than Orcish Oriflamme.

I wish so badly that Thick-Skinned Goblin got the rules text "Effects from Creatures named Kookus count it as a card named Keeper of Kookus." Oh well, you can;t win them all

Almost EVERYTHING is a reference to Keeper of Keeper of Kookus, from the name to the protection to the flavour text. Even the flavour text of the Keeper foreshadows this card.

Oh crap. I need this card for my tribal goblin deck. Two mana to stop from having to pay echo costs on some of my goblins is great!!!

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.

The card references directly Keeper of the Kookus both in ability, name (from Keeper's flavor text), and the angry pets that live in cursed lamps of fiery doom, like the Kookus.

The new Keeper of Kookus.
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight commander deck with: Pyrohemia, Leyline of Punishment, Urza's Armor, Furnace of Rath, Quest for Pure Flame, Game of Chaos, Overblaze, Desperate Gambit, Krark's Thumb, even a Stuffy Doll... Yes, the leyline, all the doubling, etc. and Urza's Armor contradict each other, but the chance of having both out at the same time is nil. 100-Card singleton format...red just likes burn there anyways. Gisela makes it better...like a re-castable Fire Servant.

Just for fun, not really expected to be spectacular, but who knows?

The echo ability is so random flavor wise. How on earth does thick skinned goblin remove echo costs? The protection from red makes sense.
