Although it doesn't give haste, and is a sorcery...so it can't be used for attacking or defending.

A quite limited reanimation spell you have to build around with something like Symbiotic Wurm and other creatures with haste or comes into play/leaves play effects.
needs to give haste, but would be awesome with a persist ETB trigger (Woodfall Primus, Murderous Redcap or a Kokusho, the Evening Sta - esque creature.

Additional "enters the battlefield", "leaves the battlefield", and death triggers? This is a combo card, boys.
EDIT: DERP. I knew that. lol. Darn cardnames and abilitys/keywords with matching names. I had a simular (Albeit slightly more drunken) debate with the mention of fortify on another card. Couldnt find a card called fortify. :P

Corpse Dance is older, and closer to the Unearth keyword. Also, if you have a sacrifice outlet, its better to a great extent than this card.
The Undying ability from Dark Ascension just made this card a whole lot better.

Any Flicker type ability, such as from Cloudshift or Restoration Angel, will also make it so that the creature will not need to be sacrificed at end of turn. Because it specifically says "that creature" when it flickers out the game does not remember creature was brought back to play.

Worked great with Soulshift and Splice onto Arcane. Return a Burr Grafter for a turn, kill something with a spliced Glacial Ray, sac the Grafter to buff an attacking creature and retreive Elder Pine of Jukai from your graveyard to your hand. Seems pretty good for 5 mana.
