I love this card for many reasons. First is the art, it's just great I mean look at it. Second this is a fun card and can work great in a limited environment. It feels very well designed and a nice twist on the Ravenous Rats that we've grown accustomed to. I don't know if it will see any Type 2 competitive strength, but that doesn't sour my opinion on the card a bit.

In an odd way, this gets worse and better by hitting all players instead of a single target.

This works good in a Reanimator Deck

perfect for black-red discard... try having four of this card and four demigod of revenge... imagine the disaster ur opponent will face in turn five or maybe at least turn four... backup it up with some Bone Splinters too, to make 2 for 1 discard effect, not to mention the destroy effect of Bone Splinters... and add four Nyxathid and Blightning to maximize ur force...Total Havoc....

Ravenous Rats...or Rotting Rats...same CMC, one targets opponent, the other makes everyone discard...AND come back...AND attack again...why not BOTH?!

Consider using with delirium skeins. Treat it the same as that card as well. If everyone has to discard, you should be doing something to dump your hand early so it doesn't hurt you much.

Howltooth Hollow can be workable in multiplayer between those cards, jagged poppet and chain of smog. These types of decks are perfect to open up for Dark Rituals and such since the card disadvantage doesn't matter much. You just play fast and hard so you're both running on empty, but you spent cards earlier making sure your stuff is bigger/better.

Disruption and utility. Solid.

These would be sooo good as a one-drop, or also very decent as 2/1.
They can still have good use, but they just lack a tad of power that would have made them so much more interesting.

This guy is a workhorse in my casual red/black madness and unearth deck. Disrupting their hand while enabling mine? Yes please! And the ability to do it twice with one card? Value.
