Although he has uses (Goblin is a relevant tribe in this case because it makes him searchable in several ways), I'd generally rather use an Orcish Spy instead.

This card is unplayable but can be manipulated into being helpful in a deck with something like Erratic Explosion, Domri Rade, Chandra, Pyromaster and Sarkhan the Mad... Weird lots of planeswalkers.
