Goes to infinite power, and infinite mana with Umbral Mantle. Even if you don't want to go infinite, it's in the color that has the most untapping effects, and the most power boosting. A fun casual card.

This is one of my favorite Blanchwood Armor targets in a monogreen deck, turns into a pretty monstrous mana producer. Lightning Greaves are a must after casting.
Compare with Gyre Sage, which has the same body and costs only, but produces for each +1/+1 counter instead, which she can get from evolving.
This guy is more comboable and can get out of hand with Umbral Mantle for example, while she works pretty nicely by herself if you have a couple of other creatures to boost her.

Mind you, if you 15 mana to overrun three times, you'd be better off attacking with Viridian Joiner.
